    They should have given Sid a better push and stuck with it. Some booed him, and some cheered him..but in the end the fans truly did love him, and we miss him.

      late 96 and early 97 even mid 97 he was getting one of the biggest pops out of all the faces on the wwf roster I don't know how he didn't get a long run with the belt around that time but it all worked out in the end

    Sid Vicious had awesome charisma. The 1991 Summer Slam event was indiction of that. If life is fair, which it's not. Sid Vicious would've been "The Guy" in the World Wrestling Federation.

    From what I've heard Sid is a super nice guy. Alot of fans dislike him because he was never passionate about the business like a Bret Hart or Eddie Guerrero or Mick Foley.

    • @jamesmccormick875
      @jamesmccormick875 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I’ve met him several times, he was always super nice. I know one of the guys you mentioned and hung out back in the locker room and talk to the boys. Sid remembered my name, was always super nice and he was huge! Him, Undertaker and Kane were huge!

    • @victorcook4530
      @victorcook4530 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To me, being passionate about your fans is even more important to me than being passionate about the business. It’s really cool to me that he always showed appreciation to the fans even as a heel. Great guy.

    • @jumbothompson
      @jumbothompson ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How do the fans know if he wasn't passionate about the business? To me he always came across as a legit big man. It's the other wrestlers that are pissed at him because he wasn't a typical wrestling lifer. He wanted to get paid and said what he felt and that pissed people off.

  • @matthewseelow

    Sid didn't get the push he deserved, but a lot of people don't know that he was seriously injured during important parts of his push. He broke his ribs and punctured a lung against the Steiner Brothers, broke his leg in half on another account, and I believe he he tore his bicep against Jake "the snake" Roberts; which caused him to miss Summerslam. Great wrestler with bad luck.

    • @jojovaldez2766

      Actually that was the 1991 Survivor Series that canceled Sid s attempt to be in an elimination Survivor Series Match then Macho Man Randy Savage gets re instated then he has to miss out too because Jake Roberts puts his snake to bite Randy s arm. After 1991 Survivor Series it got personal between Randy and Jake

    Sid shudda been the biggest star Pro Wrestling ever had. With that height, body, look, everything...just total pkg. He reminded me alot of Dr. D David Schultz who was my personal favorite bk in the day. I like the REAL badasses

    • @victorcook4530
      @victorcook4530 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think it was just Sid himself who held himself back from being at least one of the biggest to ever do it. Wrestling wasn’t his main passion, which honestly makes it that much more awesome that he was so great at it. And it’s really cool that as mean as he was in character to other wrestlers, he never trash talked the fans as far as I can remember. Always interacted with the crowd. He was a heel only in the ring. Miss him greatly.

    I was a big Sid fan. Him Mick Foley and Kane the WWE didn’t use him properly in SIDS first run there. The story goes that the people were cheering louder for him than Hogan when they wrestled each other. Sid said Hogan was furious and went off on Vince and blamed him because of that. We all know Hogan didn’t like any competition, especially from guys bigger than him. We all also know Hogan tried to bury anyone like that.
