The fact that he keeps referring to you by your first name...is a sign of a true gentleman
The stabbing incident between him and arn sounded crazy and I could imagine being there while seeing this and Leon vader's interview on it , I stuck my thumb in sids stab wound and held it there what a legend
hey, dude, thank you for posting this for free and sharing it with us
I love watching both interviews. Can you do a part 3? Be great to see Sid interview again
I like Sid but Kevin Owens can wrestle his ass off!
Sid was one of the few wrestlers that convinced me as a kid watching him that he was really that psycho. It's strange to now see how cool, calm, and collected he is IRL. Respect.
Very true
He doesn't get enough credit for being the first most over "unhinged" monster heel during his Wcw and Wwf run
Same here, I was 11 year's old when he came in and his look n promo's were awesome intense
He really clarified a lot of things about past events and wrestlers. Such straightforward answers and explaining why a lot of things happened. BEST shoot interview ever.
I don't care what anyone says about Sid, I always found him great to watch.
Ian Totten He sucked
Ian Totten, I saw him live /in person (1992 & 1997) & he was F'n AWESOME!!!!
Ian Totten Especially in ECW. I still remember Judge Jeff Jone's classic Line at Hardcore Heaven 99, "You're not getting the chair, you're getting executed by the MAN!" Then Sid came out to a huge pop. And then kicked Justin Credible's ass. It was very fun to watch. Even Jeff Jones himself got beat lol Sid is not as bad as everybody clams. He's like Goldberg, just don't put him on a mic then it'll be fine. Tho personally I prefer Sid over Goldberg, mainly because he had alot of matches longer then 5 mins
@@kyloren5799 ??
what are u talking about he made some amazing promos back int he early 90's..but i kno what ur talking about with him ion wcw fuckin up on

Big Sid is Truly up There at The Top.🙏
Broke his neck, broke his leg, got stabbed multiple times. This is a tough dude.
And he actually won that fight where he was stabbed multiple times everyone seems to forget and they were Arn's scissors
Yes, indeed
@@TheHannibalTV he was stabbed 4 times and he stabbed Arn Anderson 20 times, nevertheless there’s no doubting his toughness.
When you stab a guy that big and crazy you better get the job done on the first attempt because if he's still standing and mobile you are in big trouble..
@@sparkymufcriley2544 Arn had the scissors tho 👉
This guy's psycho look and sheer size was scary to me as a child. Wrestling wouldnt be the same without him. Absolute monster
Same here...
Sid is one of the first wrestling memories I have as a child. I remember him feuding with Hogan. I remember hating him and thinking he was evil.
Truly a great performer and one of the most intense dudes
On Hogan: “It wasn’t that I was any better than him, it’s just that I was a new face…and I was better than him.” 😆😆😆 I love Sid.
Many years ago I knew a woman (sister of my dad’s girlfriend at the time) who drove the limo for a lot of the WWF wrestlers when came to the area (mostly for Brett hart). She had a disabled son (deaf and movement issues, good kid) who was a big wrestling fan. She told me a story how she got to go backstage at a WWF event in Allentown, PA with her son. Sid saw the kid and basically made sure the kid met all the wrestlers. Sid even carried him around to make sure he got everyone’s autograph. Not one wrestler turned him down. She said it seemed like Sid was more excited then her son. When it came to children, especially disabled kids, Sid was as nice and as accommodating as anyone.
I’ll always remember that story (and I saw all the pictures with the kid and the wrestlers, heel and baby face). The only one he didn’t get a picture with was the undertaker. But the kid was standing there in the hallway and saw the undertaker walking out for a match. The Undertaker was well known for staying in full character when he was in the arena, but when Taker saw the kid, he nodded to him, which coming from the undertaker was a huge sign of respect and a big deal. It really raised my opinion of Sid. Sid was and is a great guy, especially when it came to his younger fans. That incident made me a fan of Sid.
Awesome story.
Beautiful story. Thanks for sharing.
Terrific story .A true "heart warmer". Thank you for sharing
Good to know all the boys can be decent human beings. This made me happy
Thanks for sharing this story. Sid seems like he'd be a real gentleman outside the ring.
I was 16 when I worked at our local grocery store in Marion, and Sid always pulled up in his bronco and would walk in like he would to the ring, looking scary as shit. I’d always bag his groceries and talk to him. Most humble guy you could ever meet.
share some more .. how much he was huge ?
@@mrkhan2983 he had a big fire hose in his trousers

Man that was an awesome experience, thank you for sharing.
RIP Sid. I watched this interview when it first came out but I had to come back to it after Sid passed.
I watched it a couple years ago now I'm watching it again he was one of my favorites when I was a kid
@@borobinson7005 same here man! I first started liking him when he was the big guy in the Horsemen then when he went to WWF and feuded with Hogan. Dude was a badass.
My first memory was when Sid was in THE SKYSRAPERS. He was viscious!
Funny how the guys who play the craziest characters in the ring are often the most cool, collected and down to earth in real life.
And a good parent and financially stable person as well.
💯👍💯👌💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍
Well it makes sense... the person with a better grasp on reality would understand how to 'play' the part realistically and do it in a controlled fashion. The real nutters would just do the crazy stuff as and when they wanted... no following of any script and no room to manouevre if things strayed from the 'plan'.
So the concept of an actor is a new/strange idea to you?
why is that funny? its reality, people get paid to act.
He might look intimidating or even angry at times but clearly he is a man with a big heart, really genuine.
no he seems like a sociopath. If you listen to his stories he lacks any real emotion.
@@davidkruse4030 When your the Master and Ruler it's hard for him to show weakness
Didn’t he stab one if the 4 horsemen Irl?
Except all those parts where he said he hurt guys for real on purporse tho right??
@@keithcalvosa5894 well, he can STILL do it, provided it's on the right place, at the right time? Unlike the WCW tag team match (which pitted him and Hulk Hogan against nWo Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner) whereby he suddenly choke slammed his supposed tag team partner even before the match concluded, forced the referee for the 3 count and later menacingly shouting "WRONG place, WRONG time" to the laid out Hogan! STILL wondering what was going on at that fateful day?
I met Sid and Teddy Long one night by accident at a La Quinta. I asked them for their autographs, and they were very cool about it signed without a thinking about it. Then Sid said, "hey, go knock on that door, and the guy inside will sign for you too", so I did, and Norman The Lunatic (Bastion Booger) opened the door, looked at me, then Sid and Teddy, and slammed the door on me. Sid shrugged and started laughing, and said, "well, I tried!". Good Rib and a great memory!

🥀...very down to Earth in his interviews...now no more pain from the cancer. Thanks for the great memories... Rest in Peace Sid...💐
Sids in better shape than most 20 yr olds
Sid is still one of my favorite big man wrestlers to this day.
Matt Edwards he is my favourite. I’m 50 years old.
Same here, been a Sid fan for over 30 years.
Matt Edwards Same here, I remember watching him through his days in my hometown of Memphis which CWA and USWA were located. The promos he pull are pretty energetic but with his Psycho character those promos are downright scary!!!
Sid need to be inducted to HOF!!!
Arn grabbed the scissors first lol
Hannibal, thanks for interviewing Sid. He was always one of my favorites as a kid. Great interview!!!! May big Sid RIP. 🥀🥀🥀
Thanks
Sadly!..Sid is underrated!..Not just as a big man..As a dominant Force in wrestling
I know what you mean. I first saw him in wcw, his size was fucking shocking. The first time I saw him I was like, you've got to be kidding how's anyone gonna stop this beast. Everyone else seemed like midgets next to him and we're talking about some big guys. How dudes didn't get their backs broken with those powerbombs I'll never know but he made them look so convincing I would wince on the victims behalf. One of the most memorable characters ever in any promotion, and should be hof'd just based on size to anger ratio alone. Royally scared the shit out of me every weekend - you had to love Sid. Sid's exploding eyeballs ruled the world.
He had presence but not as big as some of the other wrestlers of his time on charisma.
@@krane15 He was my favorite, will never know how much more he had to give, or if we saw it all.
Well said Genesis Barnes. I've always had the same sentiments for Sid.
I don’t think Sid has ever realized he is a 6”9 -300 pound beast , if he had a little bit of EGO , he would be in the top 5 of all time but he is a very humble nice guy and I hope he has made money in this business nonetheless
Top 5 not even close. Maybe the top 50.
From what I heard he saved most of his money from his last WCW run. I think he was making 800-900k a year before WCW went under. Hannibal did a video on the WCW salaries a few weeks back
Hes too humble....
Of course he saved his money. Just look at his shirt and the way he presents himself in this video.
Example is Hogan. He is rich, egoist, racist and banned by any companies everywhere...
One of the best interviews ever. Sid seems like a “say it like it is “ type of guy
Gone to soon rip champ put the big man in the hall of fame were he belongs sid rules the world 🌎 he would rule the hall of fame rip sid
Love Sid for all his quirks. Always gave his all in the ring. he had major feuds with warrior, taker, Hogan and sting in their prime.true legendand hall of fame worthy.
Sid was the most believable heel that I ever saw. I thought he went around angry all the time. He did the best promos and looked intimidating in the ring.
Sid was the man. I believe what he says, he comes off as very humble
Sid was one of my heroes growing up, I remember sitting up late on school nights in ireland to watch wcw just for Sid. Great upload of a great sportsman and personality!
I was in attendance during one of Sid's fill in matches for The Warrior. In Pittsburgh, Warrior was advertised vs Owen Hart. The Ring Announcer announced that Warrior had a flight problem and wouldn't be there tonight. They told us we had until the end of the next match to go to the box office and get a refund. I don't know if anyone actually did go for the refund, i stayed. Owen came out and there was a long pause after the announcer said "and his opponent". Then Sid's music hit and the place went apeshit.
Thanks for sharing, I bet that was F'N awesome !!
Sid is kind of the coolest
That’s sick
Civic Arena
At that time I don't think anyone could be mad about Sid as a "replacement" lol.
Best shoot interview I've seen to date. He tells the truth both good and bad about his entire life in the business.
I came back here to say RIP Sid. You scared the living sht out of me as a kid and i thank you for the entertainment..also thanks Hannibal for these great interviews of him
I was always thought his Side Justice WWF Theme music was one of the Greatest themes ever...
Reyzor Saint it was. That music was bad ass!
Kona Crush's theme, shortly after that, was basically the same with more reverb/delay.
That JUSTICE song was PERFECT for what that charecter was supposed to be, the new Hulk Hogan.
Fucking Zahorian.
THINK ABOUT IT: If Dr.dipshit doesn't get indicated, Vince doesn't go w workers on top in 92' he goes w steroided up freaks still... Where would the business have gone??.
It was perfect for the closing of PPVs

Really enjoyed that. He was engrossing. Thanks Hannibal.
I love hearing shoot interviews from guys that weren’t completely married to the restaurant business but still took it seriously like Sid and Sting, They don’t carry grudges and gossip like other wrestlers do.
Restaurant business?
Second time watching this and I have to say. So many in the industry try to say that Sid wasn't intelligent, but it can't just be me that's noticed that Sid appears far more intelligent than everyone who's said otherwise. Sid is more coherent than 99% of his peers.
He's nice and seems to look for the good side of people, which people mistake for being stupid.
He's a very intelligent man, he just can't cut a good promo without flubbing very often, he may have an anxiety dissorder it's common to mess up speaking with one and it would explain the scissors incident too, however stick him with a great manager to cover for that and he'd be solid.
He salvaged Shockmaster’s fuck up though.
@@symbiote1982pkStatistically more people are afraid of public speaking then dying. Doing promos in-front of all those people is tough.
@@symbiote1982pkI always thought he gave incredible promos!

"I took him out into the crowd and pummeled him"🤣🤣🤣
One of the best interviews I've ever seen. Sid seems like a very humble, straightforward type of guy.
This dude's theme music really scarred me back when I was really young but hell of a wrestler. This is one interview I listened to from start to finish without stopping it for any reason. Great job!

Marc Young That’s a true story lol
Best in the wrestling game.
This interview has such perfect flow - there's so much history covered - one of Devon's BEST outings as an interviewer for sure.
Sid puts on a great shoot interview
Such a humble guy. Hearing how he was hesitant to suggest doing his spots with the Four Horsemen is evidence of that. He probably could have wiped the floor with any of them in a real fight, but he was respectful and paid his dues.
Sid on hogan. It wasnt that i was any better then him. But i am better then him. Lol!!! Sid is the best.
I lol'd at that as well.
Sid was Never even close to Hulk Hogan..He may have looked the part but he truly was an empty suit....And more importantly an empty hat, he was an idiot...
@@Mythoughtsreviews Hogan could wrestle watch his Japan matches...Vince didn't want him chain wrestling like he was taught to do...He wanted Hogan to be flash and america and eat ur vitamins say your prayers etc.etc.He had a really cool song, and he could get excited and vince said that's all i want...He was paying hogan millions so that's what he did, what the boss said...Hogan at his old decrepid state would most like beat your A__ into a mud puddle..

A Sid/Kane feud would have been good
That would had been epic!!
If you remember in the fall of 97 Sid wasn’t in WWF or WCW, I live in North Carolina and we didn’t get ECW On TV here until they got there nationwide deal with TNN the last year they were in business, so when I was watching the in your house PPV During the hell in a cell match between HBK and Undertaker And Cain walked out I thought for sure it was Sid with a mask and wig lol I mean back then if you saw a 7 foot guy built like that under a mask it could really only be a handful of people and and they never put Issac Yakim Over as a 7 foot guy. They talked about him being a big guy but they kind of just put them over as you’re bigger than average wrestler. Because he didn’t work like a big guy van. You would never see Bret Harte doing all the moves he did to Kane that he had with the evil Dentist. So for a few weeks there I was debating with friends if Kane was really Sid. lol
Facts.....
I would’ve loved to have seen a Sid/Mankind feud
Kane would literally run circles around this guy.
Best shoot interview I have ever seen. Prototypical monster heel.
Sid would be Perfect for Walking Tall Remake as Sheriff! Should get into acting.
On WCW guys hurting jobbers:
"So we were all in a contest to see who could hurt these guys the worst - and that's unfortunate - but of course that happens."
Lol. What are you gonna do, not have a contest?
Sid seems like one of the "good" guys in Pro wrestling. A lot of shoot interviews it is hard to determine how real the stories are, Sid sounds genuine.
Always starting the story with-
“...this is a true story”
😂😂 That’s awesome
Seems like a very genuine nice man.
a nice guy? He doesnt remember half of his stories. He is just telling his side. He seems crazy
Facts.. Sid is a nice guy.....

Newfound respect for Sid. Dude was fucking over everywhere. The WWF blew it with this guy during that first run. I always saw him as a chaotic babyface, would have been ahead of his time if they had him replace Hogan as a grey area good guy. Also, great shoot Hannibal.
always thought he should have stayed after Hogan left in 92, Vince would have made him a big star in his prime, possibly holding the title before he got it in 96

That's why Vince gave him the name Sycho Sid when he went back to the WWF
Sid's Match with HBK at survivor series 96 was fucking awesome. HBK was supposed to be the face in that match but the crowd was so strongly behind Sid it was insane, it made shawn kind of a heel so he kinda started working heelish during the match cause hes just that good. That crowd pop when Sid got the 3 count was huge, and they were on their feet during his whole entrance and when he was celebrating and leaving after the match. His music also went with it so well, such a badass theme song. Also Sid had a cool little interaction with Vlad the superfan after he won "WHO'S THE MAN?! YOU'RE THE MAN!!"
No need to be cussing how about showing respect to other viewers hope you don't talk like that to your children like that
I live in Memphis TN and every year there was what was called the Mid South Fair, eventually the fair was moved just outside of Memphis to Southaven Ms. One year I took my son to the Fair and we saw that there was going to be a wrestling show with some local talent but what caught our eye was Sid Vicious was main event. My son is a huge wrestling fan since the age of 1, (this kid eats, sleeps, and breathes wrestling, he's an all state wrestler currently at the age of 16) he was 6 or 7 at the time. Anyway we go to the show and there are probably 25 people sitting around the ring, sure enough Sid and some local guy was the main event, we couldn't believe such a one time HUGE star was at this little show. Well here's the thing about Sid after his match he went around and shook hands, took pictures, signed autographs, and thanked every single person that was attending. It was the thrill of my young son's life to meet such a big time wrestler. Just another story of how nice a guy Sid really is
When he smashed up the barber shop on Brutus and the shaving foam exploded in his face 😂😂😂 RIP Sid Eudy what a performer.
Had Vince used Sid properly from 92 onwards, they would never have got into as much trouble as they did in the mid 90s, he was the man too replace Hulk
Vince was too much of a hulk a maniac back then
Maybe... Sadly we will never know.
I was 12-13 years old in 92 and Wrestling was my Joy and Happiness .
I was Definitely on the Sid Wagon
To replace Hulks Spot in the early 90s.
I *really* don't think so. The early/mid 90s was the infamous steroid trials, and Hogan testified against Vince. That's why Hogan disappeared for a while after WM8, and why his short lived return didn't work out. There wasn't much love lost there.
I mean, I agree McMahon should've given Sid that shot, but his reasons for not doing it certainly weren't because he was too big a fanboy of the guy that was literally working to ruin him and his company.
A lot of Vince's decisions were just idiotic. Like giving the title to Ultimate Warrior (who as you know couldn't wrestle a bit).
I can't believe how frank and refreshing Sid is to listen to. The interviewer gave him so many times to yes-and stories and rumors, and he just shuts it down every time. "No, it wasn't X. It was actually Y."
Sid is awesome what a team player and a good guy
I'm only a casual wrestling fan, but I could listen to Sid Vicious talks for hours.
Sid was a Great Wrestler... True Living Legend😬

Almost every question is a "National Enquirer" style question.
I have to ask the question: "When did Sid become Harley Race?"
Evilkingus You’re exactly right.
Everyone gets older you won't escape it either
Sid looks so young that he could be Harley races grandson !!! Ledge
Lol....Harley Race Race grandson...lol
Rest in power big man. Thank you for the awesome childhood memories!
One of the great big men of all time. He was great in the ring , mic skills always got over. Played his character well!! His run in 96-97 in WWE he was my guy!!
Sid always got huge pops in NY and the NE in general. Whenever he was a heel in WWF he was in reality a babyface/tweener.
A great wrestler and seems like an honest guy too
He got big pops in Memphis. He had a great run in Memphis in 1994 while in between WCW and WWF. He just showed up as a heel, destroyed Lawler, took the belt and totally dominated the territory like he always should have been booked in WCW or WWF. He turned face at the end when he left of the WWF, but still showed up in Memphis once a month or so as a face. He always got a huge pop and drew much bigger crowds than normal.
Look at you, with your wrestling terms!
Those crowds could see that he wasn't hiding behind some bs gimmick. He was gritty, raw and straight-up without being too southern for the North.
He had an amazing physique. Phenomenal delts, arms neck and traps.
Likely the most terrifying intense guy in wrestling ever. Seems so calm here lol.
Thank you for this Hannibal
Sycho sid my favorite big man wrestler ever. I lost it when he said yuckamura and fat guy in the t shirt lol!!! Sycho sid should of been in the hall of fame a long time ago. Worked on top his whole career and Austin stole sycho sids look. Not to mention still to this day his survivor series title match was the best survivor series main event ever. Put this man in the hall of fame already.
sycho sid are you talking in the 3rd person
sycho sid Who's the man?! Powerbomb!
Can you explain how Austin stole sids look? He only had blonde hair for a hot min. I don’t recall Austin using more then kick, punch, snap suplex, his goofy “f’you elbow off the ropes. Kevin Sullivan wore black trunks and boots long before Sid. I just don’t see the connection. I’m not trolling, I just wanna know if I’m overlooking something.
Man I remember the feud between him and HBK. I really believed Sid was trying to break Shawn in a half. He was scary but I loved him. Great entertainer and wrestler for his size.
