When talking about actual guns I'm more of a fan of the AR platform, but a couple of days ago in ARMA 3 Wasteland I started using the AK-12 and really it's all you ever need if you put on the ERCO scope, it has great accuracy and packs a lot of stopping power with that 7.62 round.

If you do Ctrl+A it does the combat stance so your gun is in your left hand. More useful for peaking left. A lot less of your body sticks out

Where the camera zooms in, is that something you use in game or just edit it so we don't just see you shooting at little dots?

sometimes I get the feeling it is 5.56 when I shoot someone in close quarters, see 3-4 bullets hitting, and he is still alive afterwards.
On the other hand , it still happens that I can wipe an entire helic crew with two bursts , and one hit kill targets like 500m away

I personally prefer the AKM to the AK12. Though my go to gun is the Cyris 9.3mm

Armor penetration for the faster projectiles should probably be much higher.
5.56x45 and 5.45x39 should give better damage through armor pieces.

Yeah the M 14 every day... You're right they're both 7.62 but the M14 is 7.62 by 51 mm while the Ak's are 7.62 by 39 mm , witch means less damage, less range, more bullet drop
I am just wondering why Drewski doesn't use the CSAT "ACOG" sight. Wouldn't it be better to have a 4x sight and a red dot? I dont play KOTH so I have no idea have the armament system works; maybe the red dot "costs less"?

Did you learn how to be a legit AK Operator from Matt? He is an expert in AK operational operatorness.
Just as an FYI, the AK-12 uses the 5.45x39 caliber, not 7.62x39.
+Grant Howard the ArmA 3 AK12 fires 7.62 in game. Additionally the real life AK12 has a variant which also fires 7.62
OperatorDrewski Touché. 5.45 is better, though. ;^)
The 5.56mm is also a variant, probably for exports, but the standard Russian infantry version is the 5.45x39mm. From the shape of the magazine and the lack of recoil, the modder just relabeled the rifle from the 5.45 version. The AK-12 in the game was replaced in 2015 for military testing. It looks more Galil now than something completely new.
There are different AK-12 variant with different ammunition like 7.62

seskill Hackish? Everyone has the ability to do so my man. I don't know the button for it tho cus I don't have the game. But everyone I've watched play ArmA so far has used that option at least once.
That's edited in post-production and is not in the gameplay, as you can see the pixelation of the zoom.
