To open the trunk, you just have to move your foot forward and back under the first “V” and not move it along. I have this same car and it works all the time.
Thank you very much for this video. I will order this car the next week. Delivery will be in the first quarter of 2023. Maybe you get although the XC60 t6 with the new features and an updated impression. Thx again and best regards. 👍🏻
Thanks for the review. I'm puzzled why they include a towing eye? According to Volvo you must not tow this model (or the T8 recharge) or it will damage the electric motors. It says that quite clearly on the Volvo web site!
So how it actually works? You can charge it at home and drive as basic engine when it runs out of electric? Or it works as generator for electrical engine? What the average consumption assume I use it for taxi or charge not every day? As a basic car with petrol engine?
You can charge it at home and drive it electric when it runs out of electricty, gas kicks in. It works also as an generator which is way faster then charging at a wall box or at home. You can "safe" up the electricty switch or drive hybrid then it does it automaticlly saving up and then using... avg. is like 8 in hybrid mode but depends also very on the season and tires winter is more like 9.5. If you not charge it. If you would charge it then it depends how much you can drive without charging. If you drive 100 km and eletric reach is 40 km so you drive 60 km on gas then the consumption is like 5-6 Liter per 100 Km?
@@ApexRace so it likes voyah free(if you know, Chinese hybrid). When battery runs out, gas engine charges it, but car steel runs on electric engine. In case voyah when you drive faster 130 km/h it doesn't charge, the same as in town. I mean it discharge faster then recharge itself. So it charges best from wall or when drives 100 km/h. How it works here? Same problems? Let see what speed of charge in kWh when engine works on 800rpm(i mean when it's idle works and how it goes with speed/travel/fast driving). Can you drive 2000km no stop? Except petrol station of course.
Hello. Thank you very much for the video. I enjoy very much this car. And my family too. One comment - my XC60 T6 recharge is also 340hp powerful. But XC60 T6's petrol engine is turbocharged only not supercharged. XC60 T8's engine is both therefore its performance is better so much. And also XC90 T6's petrol engine is both supercharged and turbocharged too however with no electric drivetrain on its rear axle. Comming MY2022 petrol engines will be turbocharged only. Recharge versions are to be more powerfull thanks to upgraded battery and more powerfull electric motor. T8s will have larger turbo. Whinnig sound from the front mentioned in video was maybe alternator/generator 22kW strong feeding directly rear electric motor - I guess I am not sure. I am sad that MY2021 is not fitted by new battery - I love the silent drive :-) In summer I can make 42-44kmsof pure ev drive. In winter (below 0degC) 35-38kms.
Pity you did not test the 2022 version with the bigger battery, a more powerful electro motor and the Android-powered infotainment system with Google apps and services built in.
I think the exhaust-openings at the back are real and not fake like you told.
Danke!

Such a comprehensive video, great job!

Yes, it's actually crystal 🔮
Can someone explain the "regeneration mode"?

The eye is not made for towing. It is made for recovering a bogged down vehicle-in sand or mud-just a few meters at close to 0 speed.
