Thanks for your comment. I used Paint Shop Pro, specifically the "Change To Target Brush" tool. This allows you to pick a colour from the pallet and then carefully "paint" it onto the required area. I guess Photoshop would also have a similar facility. I have more colourised George Formby Photos on Flickr.
comedies from the 1930s and 40s - can benefit from colour - indeed it may introduce a younger audience - 'Keep fit' or 'Keep your seats please' in full colour or one of the crazy gang comedies or Will Hay is not the same as - dare I say - colourizing the likes of The Third Man - that leads itself to black and white
Very good! He looks very different and younger in colour! Good use of music as well, one of my fav songs!
I really like how the colour is subtle and underused which makes these look really natural.

someone must try and remaster these films into color! they did it with laurel and hardy on the DVDs!
