      I realize it's quite off topic but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released series online?

    Did you happen to measure the thickness of the blade at each end and each to check how accurate the SGA was holding the finish? Good video, and that Reeder SGA seems to be one of the best around.

    A.so, would ceramic belts keep the grid cooler? How abouts ever sort of mist spray? Just think'n..thinking... Love your video!

    Us a stone to remove that abrasive material opposite the joint on a 2X72 belt. No abrasives on this joint is far better than an non uniform lump on a surface grinder.Cheers!

    Do those magnets gum up with steel dust? Yours look super clean

  • @philochristos

    I hope somebody invents a surface grinder attachment with some way to release the magnets so you don't have to worry about scratching the knife up when you take it off.

      Two ways to do that;
      the more complicated alternative would be to mount an electromagnetic vise on the grinder,
      the simpler alternative would be to mount something like a lifting magnet(used in larger fab shops), which is basically a metal box with permanent magnets inside and a lever mechanism that mechanically increases/decreases the strenght of the box's magnetic field by moving the magnets.
