    Wil the articulating tool res work in the upright position?

    The articulating tool rest is a great design and looks totally functional. I wish I could somehow adapt it to my Burr King.

      Beaumont's Articulating Work Rest can be purchased with a universal mounting bracket that will attach to any tool arm with 1/2" -13 threaded holes which are 1-1/2" apart on center. If this works for you, the universal mount comes with fasteners and is for sale on our website both as an option when purchasing the Articulating Work Rest, and also as a stand alone purchase. Cant get mine head around that tension ratchet, On TW90 it is ratchet and arm with roller, not connected, and tension is via spring, here it seams one piece, how that tension work ?, it is solid rigid tension of belt, or it act like springy tension ? for example when you hard push materia when grinding, on one place of belt it release tension o belt on another it increase tension, spring usualy level thise diferences, but here it seems it is rigid tension. ty for unswere.

    Is the KMG-TX EXTREME BELT GRINDER reversible specifically for sharpening blades?

    • @BeaumontMetalWorks

      It can be wired for reverse operation or it can be modified with a forward-stop-reverse switch. We do not recommend running the machine in reverse because the tracking is designed for control only in the standard direction, with the abrasive belt travelling down in front of the operator. High speed operation in reverse will produce troubling belt instability, but we have seen better belt control in reverse at low speeds.

    What's the smallest grinding wheel you can use?

    • @BeaumontMetalWorks
      @BeaumontMetalWorks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Using the Beaumont small wheel attachment, this machine can run the abrasive belt on wheels as small as 1/2 inch in diameter. Beaumont's small wheels come in ten different sizes ranging from 0.5 inches to 2 inches in diameter. Beaumont also makes and sells contact wheels ranging in size from 2 inches up to 14 inches in diameter.
