Things like Vig wouldn’t be a problem if they’d stop allowing Normal types in cup formats where they don’t belong
Henry just battling regional champs left right. First abhinav and then lylejeffs
The third last match with the shadow steelix at the end when they resign - that Vigoroth looked XXL
3:33 : The hardest vigoroth counter will be Drifblim (if not rockslide) and pallosand (if not bulldoze) and drifblim *tripple* resists counter.
Another great cast by Henry. Just finished watching you and Reis last night. Epic commentary at the end of the video!
its delightful to watch vigoroth suffer
I started using heracross in UL and wow what a surprise with megahorn and rock slide. And surprisingly bulky too with some meta resistances and even some of those 4x weaknesses.
Hard to believe all of these wins and yet it was all the pokemon he didnt want to see. Henry is a monster
Match one. Precision charge move timing 🥇
I also have the rank 5 Clodsire which actually wins all CMP in mirrors up to rank 44
Question about 6:30
So, obviously you won with the 2 shield flex, but if you had shielded the flame charge, would a Counter have made it through, or you would have been able to beat them with the next counter because its faster than Incinerate?
Then you would have maybe been able to make it to Rock Blast against Altaria, or would Dragon Breaths have farmed you down before you made it to a charge move?
shielding was his lose con. Heracross would sneak the counter on Talonflame, leaving it with a rock blast. Altaria can stay in, tank the rock blast & get an absurd amount of energy. Palossand would have to use two shadow balls, but altaria can dragon breath it into 2 sky attack/ or full send moonblast range.
Or if he shielded the heracross, it would’ve made only one rock blast if opponent hard pivots Altaria
i tried using lantern, guzzlord, and this beetle but i find out that beetle cannot deal with vigoroth well. first is that rock blast is not powerful enough, second is that beetle cannot afford more than one body slam😢it’s too crispy
I am gaining a lot of elo with a spice pick as well! Galarian Zapdos is so insane!
Henry using my favorite pokemon Heracross, instant like!
Why sand attack over mud shot?
Foul play is super effective against heracross???!!!! 1:29
1:31 - since when was a dark move super effective against a bug/fighting mon or is that a glitch?
Glitch, it’s been happening for a few weeks already and they need to fix it soon
Yo! In the first match, Isnt Foul play resisted to the fighting type Heracross??????
It said it was Super effective @1:26
@@marqopolo9948it’s a glitch this season. Don’t trust the texts right now. You’ll throw a CC and it’ll say attack raise lol
how tf is dark pulse super effective on heracross?
1:26 super effective?
Yeah your thee narrator of pgbl. A good altaria is the 🐐 of farming
Nicely done
Is Annihilape not eligible for this cup? Probably one of the best counters to Vigoroth next to the Castle dude
It is indeeed vig’s hardest possible counter but is not eligible for this cup
I'm feeling a counter nerf in the future. It's violently oppressive.
I think we need the opposite. We just need other fast moves that perform similar to Counter and Shadow Claw but on Pokémon that are just outside of the meta.
Vig’s hardest counter in this format is not palossand, hsh forgot about Golurk ig
Golurk is frailer and worse in this meta
why did the foul play deal super effective damage against his Heracross at 1:28 ? Isn't that supposed to be double resistant?
It’s a glitch in the game currently, annoying af.
I've got a team right now that I'm on a 27 Winstreak with in the jungle
Been a basic boy running altaria quag talon flame. Just went stupidly 21 win streak highest I have gotten but low elo teehee 1600-1900
Isnt mud shot a slightly better move that sand attack?
Sand Attack does as much damage as mud shot but does it every turn instead of every two turns. You're getting double the fast move pressure for very slightly less energy generation.
@@andrewcurl909 ohhh OK ty!
Base ultra cup> boring special cups. You literally have to have exact meta piks,or you are cooked🤔😂
I’m in the 2500s using abomasnow, shadow gliscor, shadow zapdos.. ik aboma is meta but I haven’t seen a single other shadow glis or shadow zap. I also did well with a team using shadow excadrill. I’m debating trying out a team with shadow golbat as it’s a poison type not weak to the ubiquitous ground coverage
I feel like these cups are the perfect time to test out mons you don’t often get to use. The meta is stale and predictable and that’s exactly why these “bad” teams have play
Am I misunderstanding something or why does he say that Vigoroth’s Counter and Body slam are double resisted by Pilosand?
Because ghost type resiste fighting and normal type
@@deepakbharti8079but those are single resistances.
The star of the team was Palosand...
Hitting them with the triple dot...
Sorry to bother you guys here but my Battle League keeps coming up with "error claiming rank rewards"
I've tried uninstalling, downloading assests/updates, logging out and logging back in.
I contacted niantic support but they told me to do those things I've already done and they haven't responded since. Sorry but can anyone help?
Palossand looks so tanky 👀
For the good hate those vigoroths
Wtf? Foul play super effective on heracross?
Visual glitch
No algo but seen 1 million Altaria😂😂😂 just unlucky I suppose
my anti vigoroth team is amoongus(sus) golurk and breeloom or haunter
Isn’t Skarmory the best counter to vigoroth?
No? Counter and rockslide is neutral
@@dxrkicey62 mmmm it’s not really that impactful. Pvppoke gives the best battle rate to Skarmory in Vigoroth vs All
@@riccardovacca6707 there are regardless better counters than skarmory. Best and most obvious example is palossand.
Why is foul play super effective against herracross
Lol
i knew it. i freakin' knew it.
just who cares about competition. even i'd say the olympics. except skateboarding. andy anderson -- a living scroll of skateboarding widsom. shoulda been just him at the competiton. the rest: practicing.
ok well i just watched the tampa award ceremonies and that was totally rigged. at least i vented here.
Upvoted before I even watched the video for the vig hate squad
Bit of a controversial opinion, but I don’t actually mind vigoroth that much as a Pokémon.
I do 101% understand why there’s so much frustration with it, and I do agree it can be a bit boring to see it so frequently. However it’s frail enough so that it feels like there’s actually always reasonable hope that you can deal with it. There’s been so many times I’ve seen where it’s just one or two counters short of an important move, or dies while an opposing Pokémon just barely lives.
That, and there are so many other, worse to play against, Pokemon that could be in that spot. So although I have seen vigoroth a frankly hilarious amount of times, I’m honestly ok with it.
Why is this season straight ass? I’d like to try and enjoy this but it’s hard to enjoy lag spikes 4 out of 5 of my sets. Super fun
1:29 how is the foul play super effective!??? Shouldn't it be resisted
Man I hate altaria 😅
Vig should never have been given rockslide
Did foul play hit your heracross for super effective damage in that first match??? 😮😮
18 min ago and early also 9th comment
Nobody cares 👍
first
nice
And here’s your prize… 🖕
I'm 3rd. Vigirath is the best
Learn how to spell Vigoroth…
Never heard of a vigirath
