Doonebug has got to be one of my favorite battlers after this tournament. It takes balls to bring 4 shadows to your team and studying them so well that you end up with this performance. Incredible battles

I literally think doonebug might be the best pokemon go player right now. Even axn sometimes lost to him and he won so many regionals.
Everytime I see anyone especially Reis (since they’re teammates) cast or talk about Doone it’s a legendary video. Dudes so good
Loved attending my hometown regional again. Went 13-1 in my side event tourneys. Got a deck box and flareon/vaporeon plush. Had fun. Doonebug is so good

I ran Lickitung - XL Rufflet (fly&brave bird) double normal backline while last season's legend push and here is the Shadow Pidgeot. It is even better than Rufflet because aerial ace is faster than fly. But in GBL, I still believe in Skarmory

11:30 Most of the time when Doone throws early, it's because he expects his opponent to throw one before the move. That way he can inflict more damage. In this case however, skarmory didn't throw on cmp tie.

What site do you use for iv’s? I have a 2/13/13 sableye pvpoke tells me it’s rank 12 were pvpivs website tells me it’s rank 49, which one do I believe?
I believe both are correct, but with different settings. A 2/13/13 appears to be rank 49 among all Sableye IV spreads. This is what pvpivs will tell you with default settings.
But the same 2/13/13 is instead rank 12 if we're looking just at Sableyes with an IV floor of 2. I don't use pvpoke for IV checking, but it'll surely recommend Sableye with Return, meaning that it has to be purified. So maybe pvpoke was automatically enforcing an IV floor of 2, since that'll be the floor for a Sableye that you've purified. (Note that Sableye without Return is usually not recommended in GBL.)
On pvpivs, there's a setting near the bottom of the page where you can set an IV floor other than 0. If you input those Sableye IVs and change the IV floor to 2, it should tell you it's a rank 12, in agreement with pvpoke.
(I think it's technically possible to have an IV floor of 1 with purified pokes if you receive them from good friend trades... but good luck if you wanna try that.)

i cant think of a single reason pidgeot is good at all.. there are tankier flyers with the same moveset… i could see if he ran feather dance for the debuff utility but

@@HomeSliceHenry does it corebreak licki cash tho? i get it double resists their fast moves but pidgeot doesnt want to take charge moves from either of them and can only do neutrel damage.. granted its a good amount of damage but.. really im just arguing why arial ace? is it to keep pace with gligar?
@DannyConcepts yes aerial ace allows for much faster pacing, so you can keep pace with gligar, and that's what allows you to beat it, as you win cmp vs gligar
@@HomeSliceHenry yeah makes sense i just feel like if you had a big brain you could make feather dance work… guaranteed double debuff is so massive. esspecially since it will make pidgeot seem like a tank but with glass cannon nuke potential also if the feather dance gets a shield? you pretty much just win the game lol
@@DannyConcepts not in great league.. ultra league its 50 lvl, so its so much bulkier allowed use feather dance. Tho quite sure even ultra league shadow pidgeot recomended moveset is aerial ace?

Just going to say this, contest officials should pick the team lineup for all top 16 competitors from the available useable cretures. Give the players 10 minutes to study picks and stratagise.
