The only issue is that the places where there are cow plops you dont tend to find a lot of sensitive info worth stealing, unless the health of bovine bowels is sensitive info then you might as well steal the plop instead of the hard drive with pictures of plops
You can add any odds and ends to the expanding foam though for weight. Shell casings, old wheel weights, sinkers, actual rocks, chain, destroyed drill bits, nails/screws, etc etc. If going larger, old circular saw blades, or even a whole brake rotor could work with a little forethought. Almost anything can work, you just need to take stock of what you have on hand or readily accessible.

I had a geocache and Munzee placement once in a fake rock, very similar to this one. Hid it in the gravel at the edge of a parking lot. It was so good that I couldn't find it again. Then someone poured a pile of rocks on that entire area for storage. Later they took them away. Somewhere, someone found that cache in their rock garden, I am sure.

Honestly, I never thought Brian and Jason were very good together. But after this video, I changed my mind. I'm only halfway through and I've smiled quite a bit. It just seems casual and cool now. Great work guys, this show is finally fleshing out, in my opinion
@19:15 Jason's rock is in the bottom right corner, second up from the corner (The obviously lumpy one). The other ones are next to Brian's right foot and between Jason's feet (next to all the ground up dirt). They'd work on people passing by that would never look at the rocks, but any close inspection becomes easy as they look too smooth and out of place compared to the jagged edges of the actual rubble.
Just an idea, when waiting for the foam to expand, place a large dinner bowl over top of it to give it a rounded mold to expand into. That should get rid of the brain effect
Keep in mind when you are trying this that your creation should represent your local geology. for a smoother rock, keep the straw inside of the foam. This should cause it to expand outward in a uniform manner.
I like this cause most "DIY" videos always look 50xs better than what we would make at home. But the way they do it isnt perfect. What we make could look the same or even better. I love this show.

You made a good point about "have you ever seen a rock?" I think a good idea would be to gather several rocks, and use those as visual references, while trying to shape it. Also, you may have needed much coarser and stronger tools for sanding/filing, maybe even something like a sidewalk or chunk of rough concrete. However, I love non-perfect videos like this, because it gets viewers to come up with ideas for improvements, instead of showing the best of the best and then having us viewers try to figure out ways to improvise with less than perfect tools, which is MUCH more difficult.

Expanda-foam tips: Spray the contact surface with some water (make it slightly damp) and the foam will adhere and expand better. Don't try to use heat to 'dry' it. It's a chemical reaction. Applying heat won't work. The reaction itself generates a small amount of heat but that is completely different. Tips for spraypaint. See second tip for expanda-foam.

A tip to make something blend in is to look at the enviroment you'll hide it in and get the right colours for it, use some of the vegitation (if any) and make the item unappealing to pick up. Hiding something in an item that is a permanent fixture (urban enviroment) or in something that smells, is too big or just seems as it should be there, is a great way to create a good stash.

The fake rocks look a lot smoother than the real ones. You should've placed it somewhere with smooth rocks or idk, made them rougher somehow?
