For one: I LIKE the Jada/Majorette Pink Slips series cars. I have the Audi R8, the Porsche 9111 GT3RS, and the Porsche Taycan. So, I have 3 cars out of the 12 cars listed on the back of the card.
Good Morning Level M ! Always good to See you reviewing Majorette. Well First of all, i have the R8 , Porsche and the orange Mercedes AMG. In my opionion, Majorette is always worth it. BUT , Like you said, Details are only okay/ good.. The Audi R8 is a little bit a disapointing , the whole casting If you ASK me. Compared to our German Brand SIKU, Majorette Castings are smaller. In the best Times of SIKU, all cars had rubber tyres , front and tail lights made out of plastic and a well made Interieur. Todays SIKUs quality had Bern turned Info more cheap. Thanks for the Video! Greetings from germany
When did SIKU have rubber tires? When I was young boy in the 80s, I don’t remember that they had rubber tires. I think SIKU was best in the 70s - 80s maybe up til the mid 90s when they had metal base and great stamped details in the base and body. I used to play with them here in Denmark. As for Majorette I also think the best era was in the 70s-80s when they had also metal base and working suspension. Plus they had great details as well stamped in the base and body. Today I sadly feel that Majorate and SIKU have a cheap feel to their diecast cars. Unless it’s not the farming and construction diecast from SIKU. They are very detailed
@@joakimhjelm-svennesen8984 Well i cant Tell you when it was. But all my Siku Cars Like Audi TT,a4 , BMW M3 and so on have rubber tyres.Yes about the time line I agreed with you
Thanks, with Majorette being an unfamiliar brand it is great to get an unboxing video to see the cars up close before I buy. If you do another Majorette video, would you please read off the scale on the base. Like hot wheels and Matchbox their scales are all over the place. Majorette puts the scale of each car on the base -- ESC #/##. I stopped the video and freezeframed, the Audi was 1/58, Mercedes 1/61, Lamborghini 1/64.
I didn’t know that Jada and Majorette was or are part of the same company. I thought Jada was still American and Majorette was still French. I didn’t know they were acquired by German Simba Dickie
Zonking the packaging, the box, and The old Porsche 911 GT3 RS I wish Jada and Majorette Made the packaging and The box is not needed and I think that for $5 there should be a new Porsche 911 GT3 RS in América and not overseas. Plz reply.
You pronounced Jada wrong. It's pronounced Jay-da, not jah-da. Just an FYI. P. S. I have the Porsche 911GT3 RS & the Audi R8 from this series, and I REALLY like the Porsche 91 GT3RS and the Audi R8. I'm looking for the Porsch Taycan from the Pink Slips series, as well as the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, & the Land Rover Defender . I almst bought the Jeep Wrangler, but I passed it up numerous times in Wal-Mart and Target. Not sure why.
The thing I most dislike about these Jada Pink Slips 1:64 die cast models is how there is no easy way to determine what series/wave/mix release they are from. At least they show a grouping of vehicles on the back of the card, but even with that, one needs to assume what is pictured is the complete release for whichever release it is. I have two models that have the same twelve vehicles pictured on the back of their respective card, but there is no indicator as to which year this series was released. Then, I have other packaging featuring six different car models on the back of the card, and I have that series/release/mix/group or whatever terminology they use, completed. Finally, I have two models seemingly from the same set because they have six different models once again on the card's backside, and each one is part of those six. With this series, I can assume it's a 2024 series, for I have only somewhat recently seen these, and they are easy to differentiate because they come with a collectible tin. I've searched around the internet, but haven't found any definitive answers. One guy referred to the releases as being mixes (Mix 1, Mix 2, etc.), and basically stated the releases when one group each quarter, or each season. That may be true, but I know of no way to verify this, nor do I have any knowledge of how to differentiate one "mix" from another. The Wiki, and other databases I've searched that usually provide decent, and complete information in regards to such things did not have much, and the models they did list were not listed as an entire release. They had incomplete lists, and although they did mention a release year, there was nothing referencing different releases for the same year, nor seasonal releases. Does anyone know the deal with this issue, or know of a website that provides complete listings???
I do not know where something like this would be documented. Hotwheels is well documented but stuff like Jada just does not have the collector community to support that. Hopefully my videos help and you might be able to use the upload date to see when they actually drop.
Interesting models 🤔

Great release by Majorette imho.
I got Pink Mopar and today I found Pink Porsche. Which one from this set is chase or ST or STH?
No chases in this set.

Definitely. That can be the standard moving forward!
I have the Nissan gtr, Lamborghini huracan and dodge challenger. I don't want to open any of them but is there anything in the box?
No, the box is completely empty.
Is keeping them in box recommended?
If you want to resell them at some point, yes. If not, then its up to you.

Dickie-Simba bought Jada specifically to get Majorette into the US but that was years ago and we still have seen nothing from it.

Dude Majorette or Jada unfortunately won't reply.
I believe someone told me there were 10 cars in the first wave and two cars were in the second series. Also he could be very wrong about that.
Unlikely as the cases are 6 car cases. Additionally, these are the only ones currently available here in the US.

Jada is actually pronounced, "sub-par diecast" lol.
A bit disappointing, i think if its a new line it should include at least some new castings. A few weird choices considering you'd be racing.
The weirdness comes from Jada. I doubt Majorette would ever do something like this.

Its the colors and deco choice.
