When I finally bought it Streets of Rage 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 were included and I used to stay up late at night playing Streets of Rage 2 trying to get further and further without dying so I could have more lives at the end.

For me, in the 90s and every year since, via emulators. I never quit the Streets of Rage and Sonic titles from the Sega Genesis. No matter what else I'm playing from the new gen consoles. And yeah, this music is timeless and eternaly ingrained in my soul too.

Those perfect over lapping quick notes mixed in with the tone setting rhythm just tells you a story that's more serious than words can express..Yet convey a sense of " Yeah there's trouble but I'm gonna fix it' so driving and encouraging.. Amazing talent 👏

- one of my all time favourite OST's, and on vinyl.... double nostalgia.
Not only the best game of the series, it also had the best music. SoR2 is probably in my top five on the Genesis.
