I didn't fix the copy/paste from Dilapidated Town label on Beatnik on The Ship, plus, is misspelled. Terrible mistake. Check "Attack The Barbarian" mixed with other killer boss tracks bit.ly/StreetsOfRageAttackTheBarbarianDjSet
Just finding this. born in 1992 and my first console was a Megadrive. First couple games were Shinobi and Streets of Rage, two games with insanely goated OST's. Streets in particular was so fundamental for my music taste. I always remember sucking ass at the game, but every time I got to the level that played The Last Soul, I would get so insanely pumped up because the track has the most 'this is it, almost to at the bad guy' energy. The build up was immense. Anyway listening to your version of the same song brought back some insanely strong and positive memories and made my evening so much better. Thanks for sharing this with the world! ❤
The original Sega Genesis had a headphone jack and I use to plug in my headphones into it and just listen to the soundtracks of Streets of Rage, Streets of Rage 2, and Revenge of Shinobi. I knew Yuzo Koshiro did all three soundtracks and I was a huge fan. Growing up in the boring suburbs, Streets of Rage was my first exposure to House Music.
I had the headphone jack connected to an old stereo, that was a massive step up from the tv speaker. Been back to listen to these mixes a couple of times now, they are great for work.
@@8BeatsVGM LOL but seriously this is the unfortunate truth. One thing I can say is that I grew up watching my dad play these types of games on real hardware and emulators and eventually playing with and against him in games like goldeneye and nba jam. It's one reason why I love these classics as much as modern games. My parents were some gamers. My mom maybe not as much as my dad but I can say my sister and I inherited their love for games from them 😅😆
Hi im a kid from nowadays and love the series! only got into it 3 or so years ago thanks to the genesis collection that released around the same time and thanks to it i fell in love with not just streets of rage but the entire beat em up genre, final fight, golden axe, knights of the round etc. definitely jealous that i didnt get to experience those games back in the 90s at release like you guys did but im still glad that i got to experience them at all!
masterful shit here ! these are the best renditions of 'Fighting in the Street' and 'Moon Beach' i've ever heard ! if SoR1 had dynamic music like SoR4 does, they'd sound exactly like this ! instant subscribe !
To me they're all great in their own way. SoR was more harmonious and melody-driven, SoR2 was ahead of its time but delivered some catchy stuff, SoR3 was an experimental drug trip and SoR4 is a mix of them
I'm so glad I still have each song saved on my personal mp3 player, but it's always a pleasure to listen to together again. And Moon Beach is the best track of this soundtrack. Fight me.💜🖤🌕🏖️🌴
I have such a hard time concentrating when it's time to work (work from home) GOD, this helps me so much lol Thank you for your service, you sweet angel.
This is the most beautiful music i`ve ever heard. When I had played this game on Sega mega Drive 2, I almost listen to this music, not gameplay. Turn that music louder, SFX Music is ON!!
*keep the groovin ficou perfeita, De **30:03** a **34:54** com o som do marzinho, cara!! Porra eu posso ouvir isso em loop infinito o dia todo sem me cansar kkkkkk* ♡
The Last Soul will always be most special to me. I remember playing this through on the SEGA, and your character (in my case, Axel, everytime), had been fighting all night and now you're in the big bosses building, fighting down the hallways with dawn finally rising on the city behind you that you've just been fighting all night to liberate. Fantastic game. Great scenes. Amazing score. Just one (or a team) of martial artists doing what needed to be done to restore order and bring peace back to the city. It captures both the 80's and early 90's perfectly 👊🏻😎.
It's one of my fav stages too, did you notice the windows in the background? You start at night but as you reach the end the sun starts to rise up. Wicked
Tag team Streets of Rage with my cousins at 1am in the morning. I'll never forget ... And the boss Big Ben those two fat twins shooting flames always stand out in my head.

the way you did big boss is masterful you took a simple loop and turned into something way more
Streets of Rave!!!!
Jokess
Totally true!
Nice ;)
Good one!

Youre very welcome!
SOR is one of the few games where the music and gameplay blended so perfectly! Very enjoyable experience!
Awesome thank you. Yuzo Koshiro is definitely one of the top VG composers of all time ❤

You just described my experience with streets of rage and the mega drive headphone output (same for revenge of shinobi)
Same with me. 😂😂
I had the headphone jack connected to an old stereo, that was a massive step up from the tv speaker. Been back to listen to these mixes a couple of times now, they are great for work.
This is amazing. Glad to see the 90s are still alive in people!
Kids nowadays will never know what was to play SEGA.
No save and no checkpoint. All arcade and all pixels. That was enough to build our own universe 🦾
What kids nowadays knows very well is how to not prevent covid and take it to their parents/grandparents

@@lettomtalk that's so awesome you found an appreciation for those great classics. Please keep discovering more wonderful old games!
1 hour 25 minutes of true magic. Thank you man.
Thank you!
this intro give me chills everytime,
''There's crime everywhere.......in the Streets of Rage''
Not all capes wear heroes...
eu tambem muito show
Holy shit the intro to Moon Beach in this version why dont they make this House music FR!??!?!?!?!
Dilapidated Town, absolutely amazing, I especially love this part 13:49
This whole project is sick, but Attack the Barbarian … WOW! Love it!!
Right there with ya
Sem dúvidas é o melhor remix do jogo que existe em todo TH-cam!!!
Passing of years made this even more memorable. Thank you for this, truly, from bottom of my heart ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just creamed myself and subbed. Best game music ever made
*sheds virtual tears* beautifully done!😢

This reminds of those olds days being a kid i played this game on Sega Genesis 😍😍😍, My Dad bought it for me after i passed my exams with good grades
Just finished SOF4 and I decided to check out the tracks from the previous games and I can say that for me personally - SOF1 is the best
Made me cry.
SOR1 still has the best ost in the series. SOR2 and 4 was really great too but this is my favorite.
Agree 100%!
For me SR1 and 4 has equally good ost.
But no song is better than Slow Moon and Dreamer from SOR2?
To me they're all great in their own way. SoR was more harmonious and melody-driven, SoR2 was ahead of its time but delivered some catchy stuff, SoR3 was an experimental drug trip and SoR4 is a mix of them
SOR1 came out at a time where some of the best techno / dance / R&B music was coming out and it shows in all the best ways.
Não tem jeito
57:52 ate na versão remasterizada e a melhor musica do jogo, ficou muito Bom
The Last Soul bate diferente mesmo, boa demais

Was waiting for this moment. Thanks buddy excellent job 👍🏻
The Boss themes were class
I'm so glad I still have each song saved on my personal mp3 player, but it's always a pleasure to listen to together again. And Moon Beach is the best track of this soundtrack. Fight me.💜🖤🌕🏖️🌴
How did you download each song separately? I started to split up and edit the file but that takes a lot of loading because of how long the video is?
@@Tanka_ long ago when 8-beat released them separately. I recommend you using Audacity to separate them from the big file, tho.
No fighting here, it is a stone cold classic
I've always liked violent breathing since I first heard it
Facts
Played streets of rage back in 1993 and still playing it now, brilliant to hear such a great reworking of an epic soundtrack, thanks so much!!
Thank you !
Another excellently rendered album!
amazing
Absolutely adore that first track. Always has been and always will be my jam.
agreed!
A trilha sonora de Streets of rage é de outro nivel. Yuzo Koshiro conseguiu extrair o melhor do Mega
Nossa a fase 1 ficou muito boa! Ja toquei em festas de house music… essa versão deu até vontade de voltar a tocar
Seriously brings back my childhood listening to these, great music and good times with family and friends 🎶🎶🎶
Oh shit that Moon Beach is an absolute masterpiece, thank you!
thank you very much!
I just realized, the way the picture is cropped, makes it look like Blaze is missing a pinky. Cannot unsee.
Man, I can't believe how little subs you got! This is amazing!! Using the original sounds to create new, extended mixes are SO nice!
So kind, thank you very much!
Beatniks build up adds some excellent tension. You just don't know what direction it's going to take as it slowly builds the complexity.
Great feedback, thank you!
that, along with the main theme is my favourite SOR track. Such a classic beat.
Holy shit this is so gooooooooood. I play this at night when I'm out for a drive
I have such a hard time concentrating when it's time to work (work from home) GOD, this helps me so much lol Thank you for your service, you sweet angel.
That's so kind, thank you very much!!

A transição dos 40:00 de Beatnik on the Ship é a coisa mais elegante que eu já ouvi nos últimos anos
Realmente! Esta faixa ficou incrível
I'm waiting for my MD+ version with this.
Estas são as MELHORES versões de TODAS as músicas do SoR que eu já ouvi!! Que mestre!
Que honra um comentário deste, agradeço de coração!! 🙏
This is the most beautiful music i`ve ever heard. When I had played this game on Sega mega Drive 2, I almost listen to this music, not gameplay. Turn that music louder, SFX Music is ON!!

Keep The Groovin é uma das minhas músicas preferidas desse jogo ♥️
Hoooo boy he finally did it! The trilogy is complete, thank you good sir.
thank you !!!!!!
You're welcome!
For me this has always been the best OST for any game ever.
Attack the barbarian is the best thing that happened to Street of Rage. Adore it
Best song hands down
greatest sound track in all time🙏🙏🙏

The Last Soul is hands down one of the best pieces of video game music ever created.
old is gold♥♥♥
Gaddamn, that remix of groovin... beautiful
These are incredible. Excellent work.
Only the 90s era can produce this kind of quality game ost.
Spoken like a true champion.
Well tbh there are great OSTs for every time period
I’m so glad I was born before the 90s.
The songs are so amazing ❤
No, YOU'RE amazing.

How can I get these mixes on a CD to play in my car? I got the og sor1 & 2 ost but these are so smooth and play better to jam to while cruising 👌
1:05:35 This remix was similar to Mysterious - Electro Shock
1:22:00 Bad Ending was very smooth, nice.
You are a legend for reconstructing these. This slaps
Great remix dude! One of the best Sega Genesis games 4 me. More than 30 years later this music is a fresh as the first time I listened to it.
I'm not gonna lie I listen to this on loop while playing other games... this is so damn good!
Trabalho supremo. Vamos ver se colocamos você no Streets of Rage 5.
MegaDrive Masterpiece.
Bro' you rock some keyboard part are absolutly amazing
Inscrito. Atack the barbarian é a melhor música de chefão de tds os jogos existentes
seja bem vindo!
You did not have to go this hard on this mix, but I'm glad you did.
Moon Beach [8b version] is off the hook!
Probs the best remix I've yet to hear !
Beats of rage 😮
the way stage 3 music started is genious!!!! outstanding work!! :D

Bro this is sick! a nice way to bring back the nostalgia and hype of the time with a refreshed more modern version
"The last soul" is an absolute eargasm!
Fighting in the Street forever. :)

Thank you, sir!
Sega sound chip was just fantastic
Nice remix but you forgot my favorite: Victory Theme
eu posso e vou ouvir isso a vida toda!!!!!!
estou com vc, amigo, eqto durar minha vida isto é eterno
This game is so perfect!
I recently tried out and beat this game. I found it far more enjoyable than Final Fight. Music is amazing.
Tag team Streets of Rage with my cousins at 1am in the morning. I'll never forget ... And the boss Big Ben those two fat twins shooting flames always stand out in my head.
Yo DJ @8-BeatsVgm bring that beat back!! We kicking it ol’ skool!!!
YESSSS first time hearing your take on sor1. Hope this doesn't get taken down.
I love the original intro to Dilapidated Town. That's what set that whole track off. That should have been incorporated somehow.
You are doing the lords work sir
Mano, que coisa linda! A Violent Breathing tá absurda, toda a trilha ficou show! Parabéns pelo trabalho!
Obg demais, Leandro!
Beautiful.. My goodness..
revenge of shinobi, street of rage 1 e 2 só paulada, tenta trazer do golden axe 1 e 2.
