I love how you walked us through and explained what you were doing. It would certainly help people, such as myself, who are interested it trying this out.
Cool, thanks!!
Well, THAT came out splendidly!!! Tom here; Gayle's husband. I have a lot of fun with resin . The maple top and finial totally
made this!! Super elegant.
Thanks, Tom!!
Nice work. I like the way you narrate the video and explain the process. It's great to see a fellow female woodworker represent! Well done! 👍🏻
Awesome, thank you! What kind of woodworking do you do?
Nice job. I don't understand why people give a thumbs down. The way I look at it is, you took the time to post this so I can learn from what you are doing and I appreciate it. Thank you
Right?! Thanks!!
Well Peggy, I have to admit that even though I don't care about epoxy turns, this is a really fantastic way to blend wood and epoxy. I've never seen anything as nice as this vase. Have a great week.
Thanks very much!!!! ✌️
Nice design
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for the video.
Thanks also for wearing a shirt honoring the Coast Guard. If you or your family have served, thanks for the service.
Jim
Thanks. My Dad, 30+ years.
Very beautiful Peggy, it was very nice to watch again, thank you. 🌹
Thanks so much 😊
Great work and yes I agree old clothes when using resin.
Yes! Thank you!
The jar and lid are beautiful, but I don’t care for the finial. Just found your channel and I’ve watched it a lot today. Your voice narration is very calm and soothing.
Thanks you, Beverly! Welcome! ✌️
Thanks for talking through your process and mentioning the tools you use. As a beginner turner, it's helpful since I don't know all the names and whatnot. Beautiful finished piece too. It makes me want to try resin projects.
You're very welcome! Glad it was helpful!
Instablaster.
This came out so beautifully!!! Love how you repurposed the cedar shavings!
Thanks very much!! 😊
Wow that turned out nice Peggy, nothing wasted.
Exactly, no waste! 😎
The double sided tape idea is genius!
Ha! Tip---only if you buy the right kind...some of them don't stick very well.
That is very cool. The wood choices do set the colors off nicely.
Thanks 👍
Awesome job Peggy. Resign sure does make a mess but it turns out great when a artist is doing the work. Bravo my friend.
Thanks so much 😊
toujours aussi magnifique , toujours aussi original et parfaitement maitrisé, bravo
Thanks!
Wow. Great idea. Turned out beautifully!!!! Thank You
Thank you! 😊

Very happy to see this on my recommended videos! I am so pleased to see that woodturning is not an exclusively male club 😀 because I would love to try my hand at it someday!
Glad you enjoyed it! Hope you do try it one day! Warning: it's addictive!
@@PFWoodturning She's right, it's addictive. It's a great hobby.
Just remember buying a wood lathe is just half of the expense.$$$
Beautiful little pot.
Thanks for watching!!!
I have done this myself, it did really well, I was really surprised, I will be doing another. I did not put any other timber in and it just worked. I did it because I had left over resin and thought it a good ides (one of my better ideas). I used a half inch swept back.
Nice!
Cedar shavings in resin? Yep. I'm here for that.
Cool, thanks!😊
Great idea, looks great.
Glad you think so!
So pretty!
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful.
Thank you! Cheers!

Beautiful!! I love watching your videos. The narration throughout is very helpful for me to understand all that you're doing. I'm an artist but to me you're a true artist!! How you take pieces/logs of wood and make gorgeous works of art is unbelievable!!! Love your work!
Thank you so much! That's so kind of you. What is your art medium?

Thanks for watching!
This just proves that it's always worth keeping great coloured shavings. Really nice piece. Keep safe and well.👍
Thanks 👍
@@PFWoodturning I just finished working with a small slab of ambrosia maple...several bowls and other vessels came of it. Some of the forstner bit shavings looked like striped ribbon. If only I had seen this video earlier, you might have had a box of maple "waste" taking a detour from my compost pile to your doorstep ;-) lol
Very nice work. I find you easy to listen to, you remind me of my sister. LOL.
Thank you! 😊
great project
Thank you kindly! 😊
Beautiful box Peggy.
Thanks!😎
I'm in the middle of making a table out of slabs and was wondering how shavings and resin would look to fill in the gaps, now I know, thank you 👍👍
Fantastic!
It’s a beautiful piece ma’am. Thank you for sharing
Thank you! 😊
The polishing paste is my favorite part too! Well done, Peggy. I enjoy watching you so much!

Great job like it looks gorgeous and the video thanks for sharing
Thanks so much 😊
Beautiful, cedar colored the resin nicely, love the color and design ♥️
Glad you like it!
You have some serious talent👍😉
Thank you so much 😀
Hi Peggy .. Just a tip.. I have two different types of lung dieseases and any type of cedar or redwood just creates breathing issues.. Even though I use great masks the filter all dust and chemicals the dust sort of clinks to my and shop.. So when I am not turning I get choked up. So as a warning to viewers. try to stay away from woods like this..There are other woods that are hard on our lungs.. I like you like to save shavings and use them to add color and keep the see thru in my bowls.. I also save the resin not used and rescue the left overs and cut strips for more accents in other bowls..Very nice work on this one too..☺️👍
✅✌️
That is awesome, like the color
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nice. I like the look
Thank you! 😊
That turned out amazing. Totally love it
Thank you! Cheers!
Very beautiful.💜💜💜

Thanks for watching 😊✌️
I've been watching you here and there for about a year. I have seen Ack's show up in most of the turners that I watch. I decided that I should get some and your 15% off was just the nudge that I needed. Thanks.
Glad I could help! 😊 you won’t regret it! Ack’s is great stuff!
Cleverly made
Thanks 😊

When I worked in a machine shop many years ago, we called double-sided tape "Foreman's Tape".....because it was 2-faced.
haha!
Buggy that’s beautiful 😻
Thanks 😊
Hi Peggy...cool recycle... nice work...stay safe...press on 😎 Joe

Beautiful. I like the contrast. I feels strange to complement this piece like it stands out above the other work you do. It's all so beautiful 😍.
