    Well Peggy, I have to admit that even though I don't care about epoxy turns, this is a really fantastic way to blend wood and epoxy. I've never seen anything as nice as this vase. Have a great week.

    The jar and lid are beautiful, but I don’t care for the finial. Just found your channel and I’ve watched it a lot today. Your voice narration is very calm and soothing.

    Thanks for talking through your process and mentioning the tools you use. As a beginner turner, it's helpful since I don't know all the names and whatnot. Beautiful finished piece too. It makes me want to try resin projects.

    Beautiful contrast of colour repeated from bottom to top. The resin highlights the colour of the wood shavings very well

    I have done this myself, it did really well, I was really surprised, I will be doing another. I did not put any other timber in and it just worked. I did it because I had left over resin and thought it a good ides (one of my better ideas). I used a half inch swept back.

      @@PFWoodturning I just finished working with a small slab of ambrosia maple...several bowls and other vessels came of it. Some of the forstner bit shavings looked like striped ribbon. If only I had seen this video earlier, you might have had a box of maple "waste" taking a detour from my compost pile to your doorstep ;-) lol

    Hi Peggy .. Just a tip.. I have two different types of lung dieseases and any type of cedar or redwood just creates breathing issues.. Even though I use great masks the filter all dust and chemicals the dust sort of clinks to my and shop.. So when I am not turning I get choked up. So as a warning to viewers. try to stay away from woods like this..There are other woods that are hard on our lungs.. I like you like to save shavings and use them to add color and keep the see thru in my bowls.. I also save the resin not used and rescue the left overs and cut strips for more accents in other bowls..Very nice work on this one too..☺️👍

    When I worked in a machine shop many years ago, we called double-sided tape "Foreman's Tape".....because it was 2-faced.
