I just discovered your channel during insomnia today. I like what I’m seeing so far. Good job on your channel young lady! 😅 impressive.
I’ve been wanting easy blanket tutorials for years, as I’m still a bit if a novice. I’ve made bags, beanies, head bands, booties. But I had feared a blanket is a big commitment for me. I tend to prefer quick rewards of creations. As a jeweler by trade, I like to complete a design as quick as possible. And suffering from severe fibromyalgia, let’s just say…pain is a drain. 😢
Recently, I’ve acquired itty small and large hooks adding to my common sized hook collection. I see now how chunky yarn equals faster product generally speaking, and most excellent for blankets, plus, who does love a plushy using chenille type yarn! You’ve given me hope that I can do this without taking a year. 😂
😊Thank for sharing your creative skills, fine taste in color combinations, and nice approach for ideal tutoring.
I’ve subscribed, and liked several so far. 🎉❤ Cheers from Celeste, in the Beautiful Pacific NW, USA

It will take me more than 7 hours, but it does work up quickly and the yarn is soft and silky feeling. Making it for my sister and hoping she will love it. I'm doing it in a blue/grey/white yarn called countryside and it looks very pretty. Thank you for the clear tutorial!. I only have 4 skeins-1200 g, so I'm hoping I have enough. Or I might need to buy another one and just take a chance on the color.

    Help😮
In the case of running needing to add yarn but you’re in the middle of the piece, do you add that knot and continue and ignore the obvious knot? Or, do you let out the halfway done row, and add the yarn at beginning of row, tossing the excess?

The knot I use it’s not obvious, can barely see it so I just leave knot wherever it is

@@CJDesignblog I noticed and you covered that info while at “end row” and such. Okay, I’ll accept it as not easy to feel. I have used this knot and found it “not” very attractive, standing out, and for a blanket I wouldn’t want. It to be felt in the body. But you are using thick yarn verses mine was regular yarn (yes small knot). I’ll work it out. Thx much.
