You can double up worsted or just make the blanket bigger 💗

I’ve unraveled 3X already 😢 idk what I’m doing wrong. I counted 113 and when I am doing the star at the end I am counting 8 loops on the hook instead of the five you mention.

Hi MJ !! I’m so happy to discover your patterns and designs and bought the pattern (although you have no idea how much I appreciate you offering free on your blog), I have a quick question I noticed after 1st stitch in eye, the 2nd loop is pulled through both the front and back leg of that stitch before doing the 4 th pull up… I noticed in other Star stitch tutorials they only go through the front leg… does this stitch make it more stable to go through both legs or is it just a preference ? You are genuinely a talented designer and are so generous with your art, and I’m thrilled to bits to start the pattern… I actually have chained all the stitches and then my OCD brain picked this up and felt should ask !! 😊
This is my preference and yes, it’s more stable 😊

Love the blanket, it’s beautiful. Followed everything you did but the results are not good. It’s not a square blanket. The bottom is wider than the top. Attempted to do it again but the results are about the same. Please help me where I missed your instructions. I will be waiting for your advice. I would like to send you a picture of what I had done. I have just bought the pattern to make for my friends son. I am using 2 colours to make it striped . I have 2 questions, first which row would you suggest changing colour on ? I get them done at the salon. I couldn't tell you the brand. I always pick out a very light pink or mauve :)
