So, I left it on the back burner until I found this video. Not only did you save me $150, you gave me something to do while I recover from a 3-week hospital stay. A friend bought Spider-Man Miles Morales as a Christmas gift some time ago, and when I wanted to play it, my PS4 was out of commission. Here's to sore thumbs making up for lost time! Thank you!

Was playing injustice 2 the other day a brand new copy i just bought had it happen twice switched the position of my ps4 and it took the disc works good now 😊😊
My PS4 does whatever he wants . A day he won't accept the disc and then tommorow he accepts it like nothing happened . 3 months later , he didn't want to eject the disc on Tuesday , luckily I only play with that disc but everyday I pressed the button to eject disc and also tried to eject disc with the controller without the button . And on Friday my brother pressed to eject disc and The PS4 ejected it . And Today about 4 months from that incident PS4 won't accept Disc and I bet that it will accept it tomorrow like nothing happened . What problem is my PS 4 having ???
@@geekystandoff I have a question, when you say the ps4 wouldn't allow you to insert your disc Did that mean like it literally wouldn't allow you to physically put in the disc or the system wouldn't read it once it was already inside?
Am having this issue, bought a plus on the 1st of this month, put it in to play GTA online, and the game just take the CD then reject it and never took back. Until I switched off the system, put the disc at the front automatic starting the game, it takes the CD then rejects it again.
You can update system software with WiFi or rebuild database either might work if it doesn't then there might be something else wrong with your console

Update system software with internet should of worked, if it didnt just rebuild database as thats what it should of done in the process anyway when choosing the option but dont worry it doesnt get rid of anything, if it doesnt work then there might be something wrong internally
Im not sure then might, the way i did worked for me, you might have to look at other videos on TH-cam on it, if there is no disk in the ps4 then it will be the disk tray playing up or something

When you go into safe mdoe you can either choose to update your system with WiFi or you cam rebuild database none deletes data

Try doing the same thing as the video if it doesn't work you would have to look up another way to do it
Mine does that too you just have to force it in multiple times then eject if it doesn't accept it until it goes in. Or at least that's what I do.
Forcing a disc in can end up making it worse at some point so I don't recommend it
