I detect genuine comradery between the performer and directors, a mutual level of respect and understanding, Everyone knows this is a comedy product, everyone knows that this is tongue in cheek, everyone involved in the production (including the performer) knows, on varying levels, that this is disrespectful at it's core. Despite this, it's usually not enough for the performer to completely eliminate their shame. The energy that comes from everyone ignoring that fact, in order to create humor, is unmatched by any media I have experienced in my life. This energy is unique. This energy only exists in one place as far as I'm aware. In George Miller's mind\taste. This understanding, simultaneous respect/disrespect for society and the human condition, I've only felt so clearly once before: The heyday of 2014 youtube. Mr. Filthy Frank.
