I always go with 1/2'' risers from D-Street; usually they're a hard plastic but theirs is more a hard rubber compound.

      Nice, I’ll look into that!

@@VaporTrailChannel agreed, rubberised risers are the way to go 👌🏽👌🏽
Think I got 1 or 2 from D street too

You should def make a new video adding risers and redoing it

You know, if I were to do that, I would probably just do a new board altogether. One of my family members is interested in taking this one and working on it, so I may just let them do that. Thank you so much for watching.

That's interesting but personally I'd prefer to see some direct drive or belt drive trucks with this. It permits to put almost any esk8 urethane wheels

Yea, totally! If they had a belt option, I’d be all over that 💯 Thank you for watching!

I'm struggling to get a response from Yecoo about a replacement MT/S model enclosure,
thankfully I have one of these so that's what I'll be using instead.
Really like the idea of a quick-release cover for swapping battery packs!

The battery thing is really something they could all do. Wish it was more standard. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

Wow! KDH. I grew up near there in EC, but have been living in PDX for decades now. So when I turned 50 a few yrs ago and bought a Yocaher pintail longboard that ended up collecting dust, cause I'm old and outta shape. I thought about electrifying it and this Maxfind seems like the perfect kit. However, the highly rated Wowgo 3E (belt drive) complete e-board is actually cheaper than this kit, so I'll likely just do that. Never did the esk8 thing, but it looks like a blast.

It’s so much fun! Wowgo is a decent brand…not the best but good. Belt drive is much preferred for me, so not a bad option. Just looked at it, and that’s a good price too! If you ever make down my way, hit me up and we’ll go for a ride! And, I’m about to turn 56 on Tuesday, so you’re never too old 😜 Check out some of my other ESK8 vids for some good tips, and I have some on riding gear like helmets, armored clothes, etc. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

@@VaporTrailChannel Ah, you're a gemini GenX'r too! Just watched your Jking jupiter vid and the AT route does look tempting. That ESC throttle does sound concerning. I was into the FPV drone building hobby for awhile and know hobbywing ESCs are smoother and apparently used in esk8. I live so far away now, but still have family in EC. I'll hit you up next time I visit - although it looks like you can't fly with these esk8 boards...

@@Phrancis5 Sorry for the late reply! Yea, the JKING you watched might have been the first version. That one had some jerkiness for the throttle. Check out the new version (later on my channel) as that one has all of those kinks worked out. Thanks again!

Dude!! I live in Mt. Airy, and we have a place right outside Southport! If you know it, it’s the Mayberry of the coast 😂. Anyway, I love to ride my Eskate through these areas. Being tourist hell, me and my wife never have to park!

Perfect kit for putting on a deck and cruisin around😎😎 That’s the exact same deck I used for eskate con that I put my voyager and dbl KPs on to race. I luv the deck and definitely was low. A half inch riser works good with that deck. Great video. 😎😎

    • @VaporTrailChannel
      @VaporTrailChannel  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hey man! Thanks for the view / comment. I didn’t realize that this is the same deck. That’s cool, and I guess I don’t make a bad choice, just need to get them risers on there. Look forward to seeing you again sometime bro!

A couple of small mods and it'll be great
