Ahh awesome! I recently purchased my first sim rig, a simxpro rig. Well I didn't really purchase it, but my parents bought it for my 18th birthday. All I need now is a seat that I should get in the next couple of weeks.
So far I am liking this design. I have nothing else to compare it to having never sat in a commercial rig or built a timber rig before. If you have the DIY equipment (circular saw, G clamps a plenty (I have four), drill etc) then certainly budget wise this is cheap. So far approx £50 on things I needed. I had most of the screws, bolts etc left over from previous construction projects. I'll do a cost summary at the end (if I remember). It's not quick though. I am a week in spending a couple of hours each day making progress. I am enjoying it and looking forward to customising it to attach shifters etc in the future. But if you factored in your time as a "cost" it would probably be better to purchase a commercial rig!
J-Turn inna vlog stylee! Like it mate. I didn't know about your wheel problems, sounds really shitty. I'll definitely keep an eye out for the next part of this video.
