HELP. what's going wrong with this b''@£$£ engine. checked everything. fuel, thermostat, wiring, cracks in the coils, carburettor, water, every thing, unless you have a better idea, PLEEEEESE
thanks, ive checked all fuel lines on the engine but you have just reminded me to check the hose and fitting going to the motor. which for some reason i didnt. i pumped the 'ball' while it was dying and that didnt make a difference.
Try taking of the carb and soaking it in carb cleaner it may be a plugged inlet or varnished inlet in the carb it's easy to take apart the carb when it's off it's super basic .they get varnished up take it apart including jets andfliat soak for an hr reassemble
You have a plugged line that is acting as a vaccum everytime it builds preasure itlets abit of fuel through thats why it revs in spurts

Also run it on 94 octane it's the go to for those motors keeps em clean and use sea foam additive it lu ricares thefuelsystemso it won't varnish again
