Very nice and detailed video 👍 👍.
Engine oils are of only three types, 1) Mineral, 2) Semi-Synthetic and 3) Synthetic. This service guy says it is Mobil and when asked about Synthetic he says "Magnetic" , may be he means Magnatec (brand name). But if it is Magnatec then it is from Castrol and not Mobil. Engine oil scam is common and easiest for service centers, that is why they don't use small packagings (3.5l sealed bottles) because doing scam becomes very difficult , however they charge same amount as the bottle will cost.
Secondly they only replaced brake fluid in reservoir and not in brake lines and calipers which is a bit lengthy process of bleeding through bleeder valve (may be they did it but not shown in video). And that brake fluid in brake callipers is most important to replace as it becomes very bad due to going through high temperatures.
Almost all service centers are similar but problem worsens in case of TATA because they literally have no control over them. In 3 years of Nexon ownership I never got even a single service feedback call from TATA. Plus their cars are not as well designed to work flawlessly without issues as probably Suzuki's are. Those owners remain happy because vehicles are mechanically sound and hardly develope issues even when not taken care properly.
One more thing, he accepted their AMC proposal and also didn't deny brake cleaning. If he would have denied these unnecessary things then their behaviour would have been different for sure. AMC is only for the benefit of service centers. They make it look beneficial to customers but actually it is not because you end up paying more for the things that your vehicle actually doesn't need.
On an oil change service, most important is oil change for engine and in that too they put whatever (cheaper) they can get. 5W30 is also available for Rs.900 ,Rs.1800 as well as Rs. 2800 and even more. There are other API and ACEA specifications as well which are recommended by manufacturer for best performance (mentioned on the booklet). They charge for that higher specification oil but are they actually putting the same in vehicle, well that is the main question which they will never like to answer.
this is what exactly i want to write, they are pouring some labba dabba oil in vehicle, and charging for the premium oil, same, they did not changed the oil already floating in break-line,
Very true sir the service centres really do things / scams as you said even i have suffered a lot and now i have taken AMC from them without spares like engine oil,oil filters,gear oil,brake fluid,air/ac filters are really costly in the auth.service centres so i purchase them from the local market to save some money

I have done 6 services in faridabad workshop but from last twp year i have changed & purchased genuine oil,air,filters & ac fikter from agency but servuces from my near by garage, because they fight when u want 4 litre packed can oil,they want to use from a OPEN drum which have zero originality

Hello sir i regularly watch your videos good to see that you are doing your car service infront of your eyes but i want to share some experiences of mine regarding car service as i am using my 11th car and have faced these issues so no.1 pls change engine oil of sealed container and of the grade recommended by company service manual no.2 there is no need of replacement of brake fluid only top up it no.3 no need to replace the ac filter -(in every service) rather than cleaning it bcoz it dosen't gets dirty alike the air filter and check the wheel alingments and balancing in every 10k intervals -(standard conditions)
Good video but two corrections. There is no such thing as brake oil. It is called brake fluid since it is not an oil. Just changing the brake fluid in the reservoir is not enough or good. You have to flush out all the brake fluid from brake lines too.Castrol magnatec 5w30 is a synthetic oil for engine.

In any video, no one told change the washer of the engein oil drain valve that's called "Benzo washer which is make of copper metal and no one told to change the whole brake oil also in piping rail lines till break shoes completely.

Sir, I noticed that you make several videos of Tata Tiago and share some really interesting insights/reviews for current owners. I'm planning to buy a second hand Tiago but I'm a bit worried about the fuel pump issue that shut down the car at low speeds of 20-30kmph while going uphill/downhill. I've heard several people talk about this issue. Does this issue still persists after the fuel pump change? Love to hear about this considering your experience with this car. Thanks.

Fuel filter from Jan 2018 has changed its location from outside to inside the fuel tank,and the fuel filter which has been placed inside the fuel tank has to be replaced after every 60 months costing 3500+labour.

For older model before jan 2018 the fuel filter was outside fuel tank costing 400 and replaced every 24 month,after jan2018 the fuel filter has been updated inside fuel tank ,cost 3500,and replaced every 60months

Sorry but I think they have charged u 400 for no reason,as the fuel filter for Tiago petrol from 2018 January models are located inside fuel tank and should be replaced every 60 months.Correct me if I am wrong.Also write a mail to Tata motors with your CHASIS no enquiring abt the location ,cost ,and the replacement schedule of the fuel which was replied by mail by Tata motors senior CDM.

The quality of engine oil is not good,they are using local oil for all of the car,but you have to pay good amount for it

Worst service of tata tiago. I own a tata, and service center took 6 hours and half of things were not done. No tire rotation no wheel alignment nothing.
