Big Meeks is such a good sport for taking so much banter all the time! Also didn’t know JJ Watt was involved in the sport, pretty awesome how well informed he is about it
so people who call it soccer arent real fans? do you people not get how terribly confusing it would be to call it football in america? we already have our football and its WAY more popular than soccer here @@firk407
What a eloquent and interesting man JJ Watt is , he would be a really interesting addition to the Champions League coverage Team when any of the regulars are out bringing a fresh and intelligent insight from being an elite sportsman in another field
Just wanted to add to the chorus of comments to say how great JJ was. Great guest, would love to see him on anytime. It’s nice to have an American who knows the game but also knows what we sometimes don’t know. And his understanding and passion for the game is top notch
Many of these pros just didn't play in their sport as kids as talented as they are more than likely played baseball, soccer, basketball, football, and many other sports they just focused on their main sport once they got into HS. It shouldn't surprise anyone that players like JJ Watt knows so much about the game.
I love how Titi owns Micah haha and I love you Big Meeks btw... But when JJ said "maybe water boy" Titi not only backed up JJs comment, he quickly made Big Meeks accept it by saying "the water boy gets a ring too" hahaha TH is comedy gold man. Incredible man
I hate hearing Americans who've clearly embraced football so passionately still speak as though they're treading carefully so to not make mistakes and be brandished a "typical American". JJ Watt I respect you saying football, but I'd like to bestow upon you a free "soccer" pass
To me, it’s not just buzzwords. He seems to have done his research very well. Even the way he pronounces “Premier” is different. Other Americans call it “premiere”. He seems legit to me.
Premier league is almost impossible for clubs that aren’t huge just staying in is a success for most of the league you don’t understand English football
i find it hilarious that you people get so upset over the word soccer (even from people who love and respect the sport). Yet you'll turn around and disrespect another great sport like that. i love soccer, i love football, it shouldn't bother you so much that i call them something else lmao
@cshepard09 ya football is my favourite sport but I also watch a bit of American football every now and again. I can understand why ye like it. I love football and like all other sports really. I mean I think I could like any sport if I watched it a bit. Its what being a sports lover is all about
@@eamano8474 i know actually why american people like it. I have researched this a bit over the internet. American sport ( be it NFL or NBA) has always been procedural and statistics based and americans have become habitual to that. LIke for every action done on the field they(an average american) prefer to see a number attached to it and the media drives the same agenda. You must have realised while watching NFL that they show all kinds of stats on the screen after every play. Both american football and basketball have so many statistical parameters to judge a team or a player. Thats why american fans call soccer boring because the score board is low most of the time. Yes, we do that in football too but majority of the fans care about G/A numbers. Nowadays football has also become more stats based like xG, tilt and what not.
@@carti8778 not for me. I've seen better quality more exciting nil all games than 3 all games. Even when there wasn't as many chances. Just better quality football and nearly chances can be just as interesting

I speak for everyone, when I say CBS sports should host the World Cup and also add JJ
I know right ? Unfortunately we will have Alexi Lalas, Rob Stone and Fox.
Henry gonna be coaching so I can’t see it happening. What a dream tho, would be brilliant.
Massive respect to JJ, you can tell he is a genuine fan of our beautiful game.
The world’s beautiful game. It’s our games as Americans just as much as the French or Tuvaluans
jj respectfully not calling it soccer... respect to him
I really dont understand what is so wrong about calling it soccer

The fact that it annoys people that it’s called soccer gives a lot of people joy.
Sometimes its hard to re create the magic of the original panel but JJ Watt might be the best sub they've had. Fit the vibe like a glove 👏
JJ Watt knows ball
JJ Watt and his passion and calling it football. Respect to the man.
JJ watt being so informed on the sport and calling it football is so refreshing
Two of the greatest to ever play their respective sports!
