It's silly how I and some friends have adopted just shouting out "What a wonderful day!" every single time we meet up. Always raises confused looks in public 😂
People who are confused don’t understand that our world doomed and on its way to becoming a world of madness They don’t get it.
I love that line so much. Especially the delivery of Kevin Durant
WITNESS ME!
BRO! I say it on an almost regular basis! The line is just so memorable.
@@SamsonsUsedCars 💯💯 Exactly
Having the humans get a reply from Fort Wayne, Indiana was a callback to the original 1968 film. Charlton Heston's Taylor character was born there.
I loved that part for the end of the movie bc I live about 20 min from Fort Wayne and work there. Always cool when your city or a city you live really close to gets mentioned in a movie or song.
@a.armanhaver6684 this is the second movie I've seen where fort wayne specifically gets mentioned. The other one was in sucker punch 2011 😂
@@a.armanhaver6684 I also live near there and when the movie said Fort Wayne, multiple people in the theater were like "whaaaat??" I didn't know the story behind it so I was one of those people 😂
I feel like this movie would have been way better if, at the end when Noa is being beaten by Proximus, instead of summoning the eagles to attack he instead stands up and just starts chanting "Apes together strong". And then the other gathered apes pick up the chant and beat the shit out of Proximus themselves. Would have been a good pay off for Proximus bastardizing Ceasar's message for his own gain.
Thought it was dumb as hell they needed to call some damn birds to beat proximus like they didn’t have a shit ton of chimps out there outnumbering him like 40 to 1… as he was 5 feet away from the edge of a cliff. Instead we get ape rendition halo theme
@burtmacklin1939 that was my thought exactly
It wasn't just about the eagles, It meant the roll that Noa finally embraces as a leader@@burtmacklin1939
@@williamstelmar9451Same here. It would have worked perfectly
I totally agree. It would totally complete Noa’s heroes journey as well
It's funny to think this is the first original Planet of the apes that isn't a remake of a previous one in decades. The Burton movie was a re-imagining of the original, the trilogy prior to this one looked like they were original, but they borrowed heavily from Planet of the Apes 3, 4 and 5 from the original series (look up their wikipedia summaries, it's uncanny). So this movie is the first fresh concept since 1971.
Holy shit.
The change has not been for the better.
@@Scorpiongod934 the definition on an ill informed opinion
Except is not? Either the Cesar trilogy is original, and this is not the first one, or neither Cesar's trilogy, nor this one, are original, so...pick one
@@maikolmiola5760an original concept in a remake is not unheard of
The biggest issue with this flick was that it was coming off the heels of three excellent movies that are the literal definition of “A Hard Act To Follow.”
I knew it won't be as good as the OG movies but I just wanted a great standalone movie but I was disappointed. The characters are great and the action is impressive but the storytelling felt very weak with the slow pacing and all that. I did enjoy slow paced movies like War of Planet of Apes or Oppenheimer but for this movie the plot progression felt weak. The themes kind of felt side lined.
Yeah. The movie could’ve benefited greatly from Matt Reeves returning to direct, but he’s busy working on the Batman sequel.
_House of the Dragon of the Planet of the Apes in Space_
You know someone in Hollywood is cooking that up.
💯💯💯💯💯 Definitely would be a cool conept
Elder dragon serve apes! Apes and dragons strong!
* the elder dragon proceeds to burn the ape village to the ground *
Damn CinemaSins giving Hollywood ideas
Jurassic apes, fast and the ape-iest, despicable apes, ape-vengers, monke-delorian and baby monke.... ok that's all I got for now 🤷🏾♂️
I am thinking that Alien: Planet of the Apes is most likely
I can't believe you didnt sin the fact that the water inside the bunker was flooding the insides HIGHER than the sea water level was outside.
Also, for some reason, the way you said "Mighty Joe Young, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga" cracked me the f* up
That's how water pressure works when there's billions of gallons pushing to fill the void where the evacuated water was.
@RepEvox
True. And the water would quickly go down to the lower levels and then upward with the continuous tide.
Wait, this movie was about Noah and a flood ?
huh.....feel embarrassed I didn't notice that especially with all the jesus references.
The last one was an allegory of Moses leading his people to the Promised Land but Caesar not making it there himself like Moses.
Literally every movie in the series is some sort of religious allegory. Even the older ones.
And an Ark! Don't forget the Ark!
Yeah, it kind of is! 😂
I say "Skip" during TV shows and movies but it only seems to work when you do it 😂
It's a ancient spell lost to time.....😂
Today, CinemaSins rejected humanity and returned to monke
William H Macy was kinda wasted. It’s actually a phenomenal actor and a really underrated one
I liked his performance here as Trevathan. He was good but yeah, he needed more screentime
Well, he was wasted. The movie could have worked without Trevathan, it's a shame they asked him to play a pointless character
yes, IT certainly is a good actor and human male, fellow robot.
"it" ?
I like when they do that! He’s a great actor, but they didn’t extend his role in the movie just because of his fame. He did what the script called for, and that’s a-okay with me haha
I wonder is this movie can qualify as an animated film tbh
Rise, Dawn, War and Kingdom all could
No because there are actual humans in it
@@MikeP828 So Happy Feet 2 isn't an animated movie?
@@sonicfanboy3375 checkmate
@@sonicfanboy3375it is bc they all are animated and have the intent of it being an animated movie
I do wish Proximus was in way more of the movie. He was almost as great of a villain as Koba. But overall I thought this movie was a good follow-up to the Ceaser trilogy.
Eh I think Koba is a better villain. The trailer promised me that it was going to show humans being enslaved and captured by the apes like how the first movie did it but no…we got NONE of that! I mean besides them capturing Mae
Also was awesome how similar he was to the girl after all
I feel like his "kingdom" just feelt so small. Like we have that pan out over several tents but we only ever see like 100 apes 😂
Nah... Koba is literally one of the most terrifying movie villains Ever.
Ol' Proxy didn't have much time to achieve such a feat, but even with that time probably still wouldn't. Still a really good villain, tho.
@@elite_rock_god2292Apes together: EXPENSIVE
I watched this for the first time last night. Great movie, but the bridge scene bothered me..... there's no way even the most oblivious creature in the world would look at that bridge and the surroundings. While being actively pursued and not immediately be like "this is a trap."
The Fort Wayne thing is a callback to the original- that's where Taylor was from.
12:55 LMAO, that was comedy gold for me. I teared up from that.
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!
Why was that eagle egg looking like it came from a grocery store with yellow yoke? Should’ve had a bloody baby bird inside, no?
The ape didn't fertilize the egg yet.
All bird eggs look like that when freshly laid
@@lasigna0212yes, but the ceremony detailed that they were all going to hatch on the next day, for the perma bonding
@@jaxvipre8606 Yeah, I wondered that, too. That yolk did not look 6 hours away from bonding with an ape, to me.
TBH, all of their clan's eagle-based economy felt pretty bonkers. I mean, isn't it *much* easier to just catch a fish yourself than to train a freaking eagle to do it?
funny how the bunker got flooded so high when we can see the sea is not much higher than the floor level
Even watching the movie in real time I kept asking this question. The bunker wasn’t below sea level, why on earth would water keep coming in from the beach
@@essaisai4243 And why did the humans build their emergency bunker at/below sea level in the first place?
When Noa looked through the telescope I was convinced there was going to be some big reveal, like a time vortex or something.
A monkey in a pod maybe? 😂
Nah it was just a NavSat in orbit.
"What a wonderful day"
"Take that back you fiend!!"
"Ape together! Strong!"
The POTA franchise is absolutely awesome
Wait...there are sticks that deliver electric shocks... and no 'Don't tase me, Bro!' outtake?
8:46 zebras are actually more closely related to mules than horses but the sentiment that they aren’t used to seeing zebras isn’t lost on me either.
This movie is great! You can tell because there’s no Pitch Meeting for it.
Yet…
The best part was their leader = Aperaham Lincoln.
22:58 well, dang. You missed a perfect opportunity to mock the old "Eagles saving the day" cliche LOTR style.
I saw a TH-camr say that half of a half is a third, give the smart monkeys a break.
Intelligence has never been a prerequisite to saying things.
You forgot to sin the scene where he was hiding in a bush and they couldn't smell him even when he was like 3-5 feet away.
I fell asleep in the theater and this is my way of rewatching it
Unexpected frank gallagar is unexpected
If I hadn't watched this video I wouldn't have realized I started to see the movie, fell asleep 20 minutes in and never rewatched it.
Thank you cinema sins for educating me on what's important in life
23:25 Noah reasoning comes from proximus caesar words and witnesses first hand Mae trying to killed them to make sure none of the apes got their hands on any of the guns in the vault, some innocent apes die because of her so Noa has every right not to trust her at the end of the movie
Nothing will ever beat War, that is still the best in the series
War is a masterpiece. 10/10.
Kingdom is good enough for what it is tho.
eh, Rise was also as good as War.
@@Zedd...💯
You mean the movie where a chimp is dual wielding light machine guns on horseback? Yeah no.
If he referring to only one hand as the standard of safety then he would be correct in saying 4x the safety.
I’m allowed to be cynical as well 😅
It's one of my favorite movies I have seen this year.
Such a creative genius, seriously!
thot bot
I really want the next Planet of the Apes to just be a regular action movie like Die Hard or John Wick but with everyone as chimps and it's never brought up or mentioned
It's a shot for shot remake of die hard but everyone is a chimp
@@c.d.rstudios4691ape together strong
Fast and the Planet of the Apes.
"Family... together strong."
Ceasar has always Ruled! From infancy to now, he kicks ass….with intelligence 👑
So by the end of the movie the Eagles save the day... and no mention of Lord of the Rings?
20:06 Image if they came across a book depicting slavery on other human beings. Would they side with those said human beings 🖤?

5:44 "Rustling"
Please make The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. That movie would get over hundreds of sins.
I honestly didn’t like how much they talked. I liked it so much more when speech was used sparingly between the apes
These are always best when the movie has been freshly consumed. Ok, I'll have to give the jock strap joke a good ole Guffaw
Deadpool and wolverine next bro
Deadpool and wolverine was garbage!!
@zackfreeman903 why you think it's perfect for this channel 🤣🤣🤣
Its not out on digital yet
@@M1T0K1D oh
"Mighty Joe Young, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga" that's an all time sin.
The one other person in the cinema left as soon as Mae started speaking xD
Can't wait to look at Beetlejuice next!
You actually dont need all the satellite dish to satellite. You only need about 60%
I cant wait till the apes get advaced enough to discover time travel so we can get PLANET OF THE HUMANS
What A Wonderful Day!
"Topnest Von Climbswell"
Pure gold
I’m guessing Thursday will be Beetlejuice.
24:49 of course Jeremy is the last person on earth (besides my husband and I) to remember the Jack lemmon, James Gardner 1996 comedy, my fellow Americans! 😂 Love ya cinema sins

A comment on Cinema Sin’ Beneath Of The Planet Of The Apes video said it best: “You can’t keep a good planet down.”
Cracked me up with that UTC reference.
Surpised there was no sin for the inside of the bunker being so intact despite having such big vents that other animals and the weather itself could very easily get into. Not only that but the centuries old technology that still somehow works despite being exposed to these elements!
Omg, he said `emotional damage`, and with the accent too, love him!!!
based on the thumbnail i was expecting godzilla :D
I'm removing a sin from this video for the "Ape-x Honnold" joke.
"What a wonderful day!"
Kudos on the My Fellow Americans deepcut at the end!
The biggest sin about this movie is that water doesn't just keep filling a bunker above sea level. The water would have leveled out at about 2 or 3 meters high, just like it was before the dam burst.
I’d have a better chance at winning the lottery than seeing you guys FINALLY upload EWW Antz. It’s the FIRST animated DreamWorks movie, and it sucks in terms of movies. I just wanna see Jeremy sin tf out of it.
I didn’t get at the end when Noa & Mae had their final convo, why did she bring her gun and act like she was going to k*ll noa ? Like what would be the point in that?
Here are all the audio outtake clips at the end:
1 (24:50): Despicable Me's short film "Banana" (Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, 2010)
2 (24:55): Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (Columbia Pictures, 2005)

11 (25:56): Die Hard (20th Century Studios, 1988)
Suprised he didn't sin the fact Mae came with a gun and actually made it seem like she was there to kill Noa
You don’t need 25 mins. They made the first one with Charlton Heston in 1968. That’s all we needed and didn’t even want. 😂
PLEASE DO THE SANDLOT!
Top Nest was the first nest they went too. The apes don’t go higher than that looking for eggs. That’s why his companions attempted to talk Noah out of going to the nest.
Please do “EWW Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb”!!! ❤
I agree he should have been more mad with Mae at the end. But also love the “Magneto was right” ending.
11:40 it motivates him to work with Mae later, his last words being not the usual “apes together strong” but only “together strong” is a call for inter species cooperation
Human beings are Apes
The Beginning of the Fall of the House of the Dragon of the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes of the Lord of the Rings of the Bog Down in the Valley-O

Cinema sins has THE best Twitter jokes ... they make me lol every time, 😁
Was hoping for at least 100 sins for killing Raka
This is the greatest movie of one of the greatest film series in history. I would put it in my top 20 favorite films.
Only thing I hated about this movie is that it ended.. and I just want more!
@@RealMemphisTrap They are going to make a total of 9 I heard. I think the next 2 will be great if they keep the same writers. I am not convinced that the next 3 after that will work though. Still, only time will tell.
@@raptorcrasherinc.9823 naw facts I think another 3 would be cool.. anything after that is definitely just gonna be extra. What if they do something silly and add mutants🤯😂
Just watched this the other night. It was good, I enjoyed it. Honestly though (spoilers), I didn’t buy the girl killing the older guy… not like, I don’t buy she couldn’t choke him out (more likely she couldn’t but not impossible). I didn’t buy her motivation for murder… it came out of nowhere. I was like “wait… what?” He didn’t even come across as if he was going to rat them out to the boss monkey… she just sort of… murders him lol I didn’t like her before that all that much, but especially after that.
I could honestly see it. She was trained by what looks like the last remaining military and if they sent her she must have been a pretty good damn soldier considering she was tasked with what could amount to saving the human race. She was probably extensively trained to take as few chances as possible give the weight of the task she has. So killing one human with intelligence probably seemed like the most logical conclusion to cut off that intelligence being give to her enemy.
That's just my assumption though.
Also someone with boney arms like that taking you from behind straight into a rear choke hold when you have no training and a limp, she could 10000% take him out.
@@zeobide I didn’t say she couldn’t possibly do it, I literally made the point so people didn’t think I was just doing some anti-woke spiel 👍
Your assumption is possible, but I don’t see how it’s plausible. Honestly, why would they send ONE 90 pound girl to do this task?
Did everyone else they sent die? Did I miss this part? I honestly can’t remember them explaining anything about why she was out there all alone.
And if your answer is correct, why the heck was she out stealing stuff from the apes at night? Really? I highly trained operator is reduced to thieving night raids? Lol
To me, the proposed explanation raises more questions than it answers haha
25:20 I thought Timone was about to say Hawk Tuah, my brain is truly too far gone
Now to wait and see where this franchise goes. It's already longer then the og film series
25:54 Suprised you didn't do The Fugitive here.
I was excited for this movie. I saw it for free. It was a waste of time. I was severely disappointed
3:55 I think he means since the horse is there then the ape riding it has to be close by. You wouldn't wonder far from your supplies
