My grandad bought one complete with threshing set in 1954 he and my uncle collected it from Victoria works Gainsborough and drove it home it stayed in the family 34 years and never once failed to start. in the winter a bucket of warm water and 3 turns and away. I've driven it harrowing leading Straw, rolling, cultivating with a big old ransoms drag.

If you knew the serial number or original registration number you could probably locate it

@@Tractorkinguk the original number is SNU 116 the last time I saw it it was like brand new. I believe it was sold by the guy who restored it to a collector in Devon.

Went in to DVLA site its still registered not taxed(exempt vehicle show up as taxed) however if you scroll down the page it has an export marker. So sadly I think the old things gone for ever. I'd intended to trace it after the covid see if I could have had a last drive of it.

    nice find, runs well.
my series 1 needed the big end sorting out. They only made 2000 series One's making them the rarest of the range.

Not the usual high back seat. The tuned silencer has a different sound than I was used to.

Hi there, the orange is in fact faded red oxide primer, it’s a series 1 1946. The seat on it at the moment isnt the correct seat and the exhaust is the early style before the extended version

@@Tractorkinguk I'll keep an eye out for it. I love the feeling of starting and running a tractor that's been stood for a long time. Unique smell that can't be replicated too.
