Bozhidar's mannerisms and facial expressions alone were the reasons I watched this twice. The way that all of the Bulgarians lift with such great form and then quickly get under the bar is impressive.
As someone who went to a sport school in Bulgaria I feel quliafied to tell you that such thing as failure doesn't exist in the dictionary of an athlete.
how in the name of WADA did karlos recover from that Achilles injury in so short a time? and bozhidar? by far my personal favorite. i get manic watching him work. ive been lifting for years. im currently training weightlifting though, exclusively. for the first time, today, my snatch contact was just right. *bing!* *slap!* perfect timing and im under...90kg. i felt like god. this sport is different... we love you seb! and max! and WH!
Most commercial gyms should support this sport much more. All their clients want to look like jacked athletes but training towards this goal is best achived with this kind of training, usually its not welcome to do so. Very contradicting.
This is great however I feel like we've seen alot of bulgarians now, Id love to see some other countries lifting more in depth like the colombian womens video you did. maybe a video about egypts lifters or Mexico's just lesser known lifters and their team
Why didn’t Karlos compete. By the way he power snatched 150 he looked like was good for 170/175 I’ve seen him squatting faster with the weights he was using. He might’ve been at 95%. I don’t know. The way they were talking about this Achilles tendon problem 3 months ago was wondering if he was even going to make it to Paris. Tian Tao won Asian games 96 kg this week with 390. Lee Dayin finished in 4th place! And the Iranian who won the 89 worlds finished 8th. For some reason no 89 kg class
I hope he makes it to the +109's. each year, up 10kg. 😂 hes an incredible human. and maybe could still do a backflip as he takes his 3rd lift before minasyans opener. 💀💀💀
There's nothing left of the real Bulgarian Weightlifters like in the Abadjiev's generations only Nassar and Boshidar they've a little bit of that dose of power. 😢

Small thing. I love how the weight changes as the athlete loads the bar. 🙌🏽 satisfying
Was about to write the same thing!
That triple shot was pure ice 🥶

i watched the last 10 seconds of this video maybe a dozen times for just that reason.

Mesmerized by Bozhidar Andreev - he really apparates under the bar
I like how emotional Bozhidar can be :)
those feels :D
he is a fucking HERO!! one of my favorites of any time.
Andreev Bozhidar is lightning-fast under the bar. He's 🔥!!!
unbelievably bulgarian
Sick! These guys are flipping superheroes.
I really like how fantastic the weight change captions have become! 🔥
Love 2:04 when all three are in frame!
Love that Nassar loads his own bar.
lol isn't that the norm?
Why tho
Depending on the team and the athlete (Georgia or China for example) the staff can be tasked with loading. Even in practice.@@ultraL2
@@mariososterneto1191 maybe cuz he wasn't competing so doesn't need to save as much energy, and his misses in the training hall don't matter as much.
Editing on point WH!
Bozhidar translates as ''Gods gift''
this 55kg guy frontsquats more than most people deadlift at the gym XD
Can confirm!

Excessive cosuming of hormone of growth
I am skeptical that he was actually injured at all. I'm not sure why they would publicize a non-existent injury but stranger things have happened.
@@tjbanville Wrong. He has a scar on his leg.
Growth hormones and stem cells treatments, those things work miracles.
@@hsandev8972 for sure. and world-class physio.
🇧🇬 🇧🇬 🇧🇬 POWER BOJIDAR CHAMPION
basically a weightlifting frag movie. just need to sync up the sound of the bar making contact and feet slamming the floor to some drum and bass

Oh yeah

Probably comes down to scheduling and if they want to be filmed.
@@Watchingvids01 yeah thats true

If I learned anything from watching these last worlds competition is that zkc bars will tear your $#!+ up!
warm body cold mind shirt is hard
I must say I prefer without the music! Hearing the barbells is more satisfying...

Do you know if bozhidar is ever going back down to 73?
