Why are people in the comments hating because he is on steroids? There is not a single Weightlifter male or female in the Olympics who is not juiced to the gils. Yes, he is on drugs and so is everybody else. If you don't believe it do this: train Weightlifting for 12 months straight natural, then go on a cycle of 100mg testosterone suspension week + 20mg oxandrolone day for 3 months (super weak cycle compared to what these guys are using). After your first cycle you will never again even think that anybody could be an Olympic Weightlifter without steroids.
Most people in the comments section do not seem to realize that there is no single male or female in this sport that is not on the juice. Check the physique of most athletes from the Chinese team. I would say that their gains are even more impressive taking into consideration that Karlos as Bulgarian has a better starting point in terms of genetics.
Starting the juice so early can't be good. Aq teen body is a testosterone factory, roids completely take over test production to the point his body will no longer be producing it. His fertility too could be impacted. He should get a girl pregnant ASAP
Some similar teen phenoms you might not know: Daniil Pushkaryov of Russia squatted 290 kg at age 17 and a bodyweight of 82.4 kg in 2017 this was a local level completion in Russia so international records couldn't be set. 19 year old Devin Mervau of the USA squatted 320 kg last year at 89.6 kg bodyweight in a USAPL meet. Once again not eligible for an international record but still a huge squat by a teen under 90 kg.
Did you miss the little detail that Karlos is Olympic weightlifter not Power-lifter? He is squatting 280kg only to train a bit his legs for his main exercises, which are Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. 70% of his training goes into those two exercises and the rest is an addition to make them even stronger. Also those local competitions are so poorly peds tested that if the same guys try the same weights on international levels like EC, WC or OC they wont hit even 70% of that weight most likely due restriction of heavy gear abuse because of the regular testing lol
@@cirodimarzio910 Yes and 66% of their training goes to deadlift and bench (as powerlifting is a 3 lift sport).
