Interesting information about Cao Lau, as a native. I read somewhere that the name Cao Lau is somehow relate to the way it was served. Since the name Cao Lau literally translate into to English is "High building", in previous day, the shop owner used to sit on the top floor to look after their shop easier, and they used to order Cao Lau too, the Cao Lau would be tied to a string and the shop owner would pull it up to their floor, enjoy it and payed after they finished ( I guess they would put the money in an empty bow and return the bow using the string )
We love Hoi an so much that we invested in a business and moved here from the United states to live.Absolutely love Vietnam and especially Hoi an! Beautiful country with fantastic people!
Our house is on the edge of the rice fields that you rode through! We love waking up and seeing the waterbuffalos in the morning before we go to our favorite coffee shop which is Sua CAFE! It's got the best coffee place in Hoi an! The whole country of Vietnam is awesome and beautiful with the best people on earth! Love it!
For me Hoi An was the highlight of my trip to Vietnam . I spent 5 nights there and loved this quaint little town that came alive at night with all those lanterns . I spent 3 weeks travelling from Ho chi Minh to Hanoi . Absolutely loved Vietnam 😀 Thanks for uploading . Brought back beautiful memories❤️
When I Come To Vietnam For My 1ST Visit MUST Stop At Hoi Ann ( Really Think I Will Stay 1 Night )Really Appreciate Showing The Water & Might Market. Love Fried Bananas. Excellent Video
I adore Hoi An. I first visited there in 2014. Was suppose to be there again in May of this year but Covid has stopped that. I plan to try and go May 2022 and keeping everything crossed by then Vietnam will be open to tourists again.
Hoi An is the place I'm most excited to visit in Vietnam last year, and your video made me even more excited! I want to have a special-event dress made while I'm there, so thanks for the shop recommendation.
I'm Vietnamese ,haven't just gone to Hoi An but I like this place .I think i 'll go to that because i ' m Vietnamese. Have a good day in Hoi An ,Viet Nam.
Great video. Full of food:) Definitely getting a suit the next time I get to Hoi An. Can’t wait to see Saigon:))))) Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Hi, I never went to Vietnam country. But I have try Vietnam foods before it’s very tasteful and delicious. Thank you for making this video. I really enjoyed it.
That's a very nice video of Hoi An, very much reminding us of our visit there in February 2020. It is well worth spending about five days there as plenty to see and do, and the food is excellent. Probably the most pleasant place to visit in the whole of Vietnam ! 🇻🇳 🇻🇳.
Yes, this place is buzzing especially on full moon, when they float these colourful lanterns and make a wish. Love Hoi An. Should’ve taken a trip up to Bana Hills too, lovely experience.
Y'all are making me hungry!! This video made us miss Vietnam so much! Tommy and I both had some custom shoes made while we were there, such a fun experience. 💜
I would love to see a video on if you think travel has changed your views of yourself and the world. Whilst also doing a Q&A of your future plans :D. Also for future videos could you please include the cost of things e.g. how much were the bikes to rent? Would be really helpful. Thank you as always for your great content.
Hey Sam! We are definitely overdue for a Q&A video. Once we finish our videos from the international trips we have an update video after that. Also, so sorry for not including pricing. We usually try to do that and honestly just forgot. We will be sure to include that info going forward. Thanks for watching!
We followed a route we found on HiddenHoiAn.com. They have the Google map on their site with all the points of interest. The post is titled “Cycling In Hoi An: Self Guided Routes”
Heey! Love your content ☺️ just wanted to know what the travel restrictions are like in Vietnam? We are currently in Thailand and can’t find any information about travelling to Vietnam
Hey! Glad you’re enjoying our content? We’re not sure...We we’re in Vietnam 🇻🇳 March of 2020 as most countries were starting to close borders. We’ve been back in the US since late March 2020. We’ve heard rumors that Vietnam could open again to many foreign tourist by June/July, but we can find any reputable info either. We wish we were in Thailand now, enjoy it!
@@outterboxthinker The government is in the process of changing the rules, it is not official yet unless you're considered a specialist which is needed to enter the country. It will likely open by spring or end of summer. Nothing official yet.
I have been there, its peaceful. The fields, friendly people, food,... many tourists there. It looks quite now because of the pandemic. By the way, so jealous with u guys, i really want to travel now. Wear marks in the street all the time 😷
Can I ask u guys how did u make it to travel in Vietnam?I from Italy and I try to take a look to the flights, but I can’t take anything for travel right there
Properly interesting video, would be so interested in the "suit" costs? Oh, and probably the dumbest question ever.......is much English spoken there? See many signs with English included.
If I remember correctly, the suit was around $200 USD. In Hoi An, like most of the popular towns, people speak enough English to get by. We never had much issue with communication. Thanks for watching!
You must have been there during Covid. A couple years ago you couldn’t walk down the street without bumping into tourists. Pretty building, but the whole town is a tourist zone. Tourists generally outnumber Vietnamese by far. I would not recommend Hoi An if you want something other than blocks of expensive boutiques and thousands of tourists.
I'm actually extremely surprised that you are vegetarian. I assume you are against the mistreatment of animals? But, how come you think it's ok to travel around south east Asia in the middle of a pandemic. It's not. You are spreading the virus. We don't need you to explain the food. Hopefully when the pandemic is over we can explore this for ourselves. If you came to my country which has much lower numbers than phillipines at the moment , we can't travel beyond 5 km. Your not a historian, a chef giving kids a football won't replace their grand mothers.
Stop being so judgmental and pay attention to the date we put at the beginning of our video and read the description where we also mention the date. STOP being so quick to pull the trigger and assuming that we are not taking the pandemic seriously. We have actually been social distancing for a year back in the US and doing our part. We shouldn’t have to explain ourselves here; read the dates.

Oh how cool! I wish we had known that at the time. Thanks for the info!

I’ve ridden through the country and rice fields there. Very beautiful and I love it

Yes, as Hoi An is a tourist town English is widely spoken there.
Copy that, thank you all
Can I ask how you're able to be in Vietnam right now? Struggle is real to get into the country.
We’re not! This was filmed in March of 2020. Thanks for watching, hope you can make into Vietnam soon!
Hello. How do you manage to travel so much during covid? Than you...
Hi there! We don’t! ☺️ Our videos are quite delayed and this one was filmed in March of 2020 before travel restrictions.
It would be good if you list some prices for the food for interested viewers.
So this videos about Vietnam trip record before Covid?
Yes! ☺️

as they said, it's a Chinese + Japanese + Vietnamese culture, architecture
