  • In our 2 month camping journey of Victoria, after a long lockdown in the state, we visit Grampians National Park.
The video starts with us completing the Chatauqua Loop which includes Bullaces Glen, Clematis Falls and Chatauqua Peak before heading over to complete the 6km loop of Boronia Peak. We then head back to camp for the night to rest up before beginning the Grampians Peaks Trail the following day.
The Grampians Peaks Trail currently is a 2-night- 38KM track starting and ending in Halls Gap. It is being renovated and built to become a 13 day trek by early 2021. We ended up hiking around 25km on day 1, seeing beautiful sites such as the Pinnacle on the Wonderland loop and Mt Rosea. We spent 1 night out on trail at the newly built Bugiga Campsite. On the second day, we head back into Halls Gap after deciding to skip the the end part of the trek (advice we received from other hikers and the tourists information center).
Once again, we hope you enjoy our video and don't forget to like & subscribe!

We're Scott & Lauren, a couple from Melbourne in Australia!
Our passion for travelling, backpacking and hiking started back in July of 2017 when we headed off to Europe for a 6-month backpacking trip, which would ultimately change our lives.
After returning in January 2018, the "standard" post-travel emotions hit.
We both decided we would knuckle down and try and save as much money as possible before jetting off again to see more of this beautiful world.
Our first stop was meant to be Atlanta in Georgia, USA,where we were meant to be attempting an Appalachian Trail thru-hike beginning on March 18, 2020!
But COVID-19 put a pause on all adventures that were planned, forcing us to adventure in our backyard of Australia.

This is another one on my list to do! Now that the whole trail is open it is about $530 according to the website. Might have to save a few dollars or split it with another :)

Yeah the platforms suck. They spent $50 mill on this walk… what a load of BS.
The whole pay for campsites is rubbish as well.
