- Hello my friends,
Welcome back to the channel! In this video I make the trip down to Gibraltar Range National Park in the New England Tablelands area of New South Wales. It is a National Park that I have wanted to visit for a long time!
It is a beautiful drive down from Brisbane via the inland route.
I brought my Fujifilm G617 Panoramic medium format film camera and several rolls of film along with me.
Join me on Day one of my two day trip. On this first day I hiked in and summited the Haystack.
It was such an awesome experience!!
I truly hope you enjoy this one, as I really enjoyed the trip away, and producing this video.
Please let me know any feedback, or feel free to ask any questions in the comments section below.
The Day two video won't be too far away!
Thanks so much everyone! Remember to give it a thumbs up and subscribe!
Nathan :)
What an incredible adventure! 🌲📸 The Gibraltar Range National Park sounds stunning, and your journey there must have been amazing. I can't wait to see the breathtaking shots you captured with your Fujifilm G617. Looking forward to Day two's video! Keep up the great work!
@@dmshofikulbd thank you very much for the kind words. I had an incredible time.
Part two coming soon!!
Looks like a fantastic place! Velvia 50 was always my favourite back in my film days...its probably too much for other places, but so good for the Australian landscape - really helps to show all the subtle tones. Love all the colours and textures of the rocks, and I think your first comp is a winner! Hope you're doing well Nathan!
@LisaFrostPhoto thanks so much Lisa!! Yeah, I am a big fan of Velvia 50! It's a shame I can't get it developed by Matt at Indro haha. The predictable light from the cloud cover made it easy in this instance.
I prefer the way the rock is separated in the first composition. But the. I like having aome background bush in the second haha. I'd pick the first, though :)
Life is really busy at the moment, but at least I'm not bored haha. I hope you're doing well too!
Good stuff! Glad to see you got out there. Pity you didn’t get a sunset though!
Thanks so much man! What a bloody ripper spot!! Yeah, I was a bit bummed I didn't get a sunset too
Where do you get your 6x6 film developed, that camera is a bit heavy.
@3goldfinger Most of my C41 film is done at a local camera store/film lab. And I have to send my E6 away for development. I have been using Ikigai Film Lab in Melbourne for E6 (and sometimes C41) for a while.
Yeah, this camera is a monster. But I love it!!
