    However, look at St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub, yes the particles may be similar, but it has salicylic acid and worked as a great economical mini-mask to help shrink pours and exfoliate. People just need to know to not scrub aggressively, it made a huge difference in the texture of my skin.

    Check out the James Welsh videos about the St ives court case. Turns out most of the 'evidence' is not as solid as people thought. Most were from one publication source in New York that posted a few articles. The shells are quite rough but apparently well within regulations. Well at least that's what is happening in the court case. Would love to know what these Drs say.

    • @JasminMiettunen
      @JasminMiettunen 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The court case failed to prove the microtears claim, still doesn’t mean it’s a good product. Dr. Shah didn’t make any unsubstantiated claims about microtears, just objectively pointed out how it looks under a microscope. Just because it doesn’t cause microtears doesn’t mean it can’t be a bad product.

      @user-ij5lu9ph2p 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It's not that it's not THE best, it's that it's literally HARMFUL for you so idk why you go around defending a product that definitely doesn't care about you, or anyone else and only care about making money (walnut shells are cheap and so less production cost, more profit). It might be alright now, maybe because you are still young, but in the long run the bad stuff will show.

    • @user-ij5lu9ph2p
      @user-ij5lu9ph2p 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Aniastasia There's already scientific evidence that it does cause your skin microtears (which of course we won't see thru the naked eye but they are still wounds on the skin) and the microscope test the doctor in the video just did only proves it. Sorry if it came out rude but I'm just trying to explain how bad the whole thing is, with the company still selling it despite doctors saying it is literally harmful and making use of their marketing to sell it and even downright lying in everyone's faces. Tho anecdotes like this don't really help, I'm mad at the companies who still sell this and don't even try improving their products just because it sells, not you. It's never the victim's fault. Again, it might feel okay right now but PROLONGED use will show the consequences eventually, of course it will not be immediate but gradual. Just trying to help and look out for others and everyone's skin health. But in the end of course it's your choice what you do.

    Another question, about Eucerin? It said to be made from urine, urine can cause ammonia buildup in the brain which leads to dementia? Can you maybe make this clear to us, if it is the truth? Thank you

    This stuff is horrible for your plumbing, as well as being very hard on your skin. Try using a linen or linen/cotton cloth to wash with - it has a slightly rough texture and doesn't clog your drains.

    Also if I wash my face with the CeraVe SA renewing cleanser and use the Paulas choice 2% BHA do you think it would be too much for my skin and irritate it since the cleanser also has silicic acid?

    • @teletubbiestunetwister9570
      @teletubbiestunetwister9570 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a cleanser with salicylic acid along with a BHA toner. It has helped decrease my pimples. I had no irritation and I think that is because the cleanser washes off so it not part of the leave-on treatment.

    This "overblown" Case with St. Yves is going to my Nervs! I never have used one of the Products because I'm Herman and we doesn't can buy these here in the Market.
    But we - especially ME or I - used Seasand-Scrubs a lot of Years! They are harsh to the Skin, but I've used them tenderly and they worked beautiful!
    I also do my own special Self-Made-Body-Scrub when I'm on the Beaches in Sri Lanka. ..I scrub my whole Body with the Sea-Sand there....Same Thing.
    I think this whole Case with St. Yves is only a big Cash Grab from stupid User and they wann to make a lot of Money with their own Stupidiness and not reading the Instructions to use!
    And they have found clever Laywers.. to go to the Court....

    I’ve been using St. Ives since high school. I love it. Haven’t changed yet. Let me just say this.....
    My 2 granddaughters don’t use it. They use some expensive stuff. They have acne, I never did. So you can kind of figure out how old I am! :). But I will say this, my older granddaughter said I’m the youngest grandma in her class. She’s in high school now so there is no ‘class’ anymore. Happy Easter!
