Suggestion for party wear video: I’d love to see more formal outfits like the navy one you did today. Basically I’d love to see alternatives (like separates)to the traditional sparkly party dress which is difficult to wear multiple ways. That navy outfit was SO elegant.
Trinny I just came across you on utube 3 days ago!! Where have you been? I feel I have so much to catch up with , every chance I have I'm following an epidode of you...can I just say I have never learnt so much about fashion as I have the last 3 days ,seriously you have given me such of a new insight of looking at my clothes in a completely new light... That navy Celine jumper with the floaty trousers is STUNNING 🤩 definitely want to try to replicate that look
The thing about you is that all your clothes are classic, what makes you different is that you draw from your older clothes. You are not like some of those young chickies who do a haul every other week. You come home and draw from your designer wear which with a couple of tweaks, you make an outfit look like it is right off the runway. I like the idea of shoulder pads. I never really got over the eighties big shoulders. Big shoulders really did make you look better.
The ease of which you put together fantastic outfits is such a joy to watch!

My shoulders are pretty square and straight (as opposed to sloping), but I find that adding a small, square-edge shoulder pad improves the hang and look of so many soft jackets, tops and dresses. I don’t like those big, round ones, they’re not flattering, because they make the shoulder look higher and lumpy, instead of straighter and sharper. The shoulders are the hangers of the garment, I’m glad shoulder pads are back. So long as they don’t become extreme again. I want to sharpen up a garment’s hang and fit, not have everyone say “wow, look at those huge shoulder pads!”. I think they’re great for a large bust like mine, too, they visually reduce bulk there a bit.
Hi Kimberly: 😖Do get PTSD flashbacks from 80s exaggerated 🎖️military shoulders, but still 💯% agree that the proper pads can help balance out large breasts while it curtails the appearance of sloping shoulder on some garments.
🥵Know it's tricky to layer here 🌞, but I'm thinking about trying Trinny's tip of putting the shoulder pads on a body sculpting undershirt. It seems to elevate her outfits everytime she adds it w/o looking obvious😵.

I'm a mid 40s woman from NY and just found you. I'm addicted to your channel. My best friend is from England. The New York styles are *terrible.* I love your style and class. By the way, we don't say "jumper" in USA- we say "sweater". We suck! At 3:15 we don't even *have* these styles here in department stores. Please help us out and tell us the brands in the descriptions. I heard you say "Top Shop" on your coats video and Googled it and found it at ASOS. We hardly have any boot cut pants here either. I wish I had parties to dress up for! Really any occasion… I live in Denver Colorado and everyone is so casual here… I know Trinny has said to not use that as an excuse but it’s so awkward to show up overly dressed… people poke fun at times… I grew up in California and that it one thing that was always so different!! People dressed up more and paid more attention to their style instead of leggings 24/7… how do others that live in really casual towns or cities deal with this?
You can do it with accesories, could be an statement earrings or a hat, or a belt, or a handbag, and for cloth remain monocromatic like her, but above of that you need to be confident and don't give a Sh...t what others people think. That's what I do, a be prepared for people staring at you. Have fun!!

Say you're being kind to the planet 🌎, reducing waste in landfills🗑️, & helping your pocketbook👜 by rewearing the fashion you've accumulated over the years. In the end, ppl will be drawn to your good humor & confidence.

🐻Golden State, but remind them the place you hail from isn't all bad. 😄Joke that you can take the girl out of

I simply love Trinny, she is the very BEST for styling, I have gone and bought quite a bit what she has advised (but not the very expensive items lol), I just LOVE the beautiful 'Joseph' long split jumper, I thought about buying this for a treat for my birthday but very sadly, I am too small (4ft 11" & a size 6) and it would have been far too long as the garment only fits ladies 5ft 9" and over plus, it would have 'swamped' me :((( I have always wished Trinny would make over the likes of my size - I would adore and love to see this xxx

I don’t understand the look “ expensive” thing- I want to look stylish I want to feel good in the clothes I wear - which for me means I buy the best quality I can afford but in no way do I want to look “expensive “. I view that as a really shallow way of looking at style. How many people with wealth have no taste style or class- so why would I want to wear things that look “expensive” like them.
Having said this this - an episode on what to wear when you dont go to an office or workplace anymore. I am now semi retire and many people are choosing to work in a flexible way- home and office maybe. I have a dictum I follow- always look presentable and working from home during lockdown I dressed to motivate myself. Could you do a series on dressing for your day when you dont work in a formal workplace but want to look presentable and want to be motivated. I really dont ascribe to the loungewear thing all day even when I had young babies I refused to wear track suits ( tricky dacs out particularly with ugg boots). Yes I am an Aussie with peculiar standards.

😉Just got a promo advertising velvet joggers for 🍼babies @ Old Navy. Know their clothes aren't the highest quality, but for women they have a high waisted pair in black, gold, teal, navy, light gray & pink. They also have a cozy velour in green camoflauge. ⚡Going fast bcos on clearance.
🙂Otherwise Nordstrom has a pair in beachwood, teal, & wine. Like the straight leg instead of elastic, but I don't like the Juicy Couture branding. Try Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls or TJ Maxx too.
