    Mr.DiMuzio it doesn't matter about the song that you sing whether English or pilipino, Tagalog, Visaya.Your voice is amazing.I love some of your songs especially the songs that you wrote.Job well done 👍👍🎶🎵⭐🇺🇸

    First off -- great job on the vocals, you have a really nice voice. I think the BeezNeez sounds good on this track, it's just darker than the Stam. I own the Stam Audio SA-87 -- it really is a superb clone of the U87 and for the price is really hard to beat.

    Great video, and really helpful. I tried the BeesNeez and it didn't work for my voice. I hear a similar effect on your vocals from it in comparison to the Stam, which I'd still consider, because it sounds great on you.

      I agree, I think the Beesneez sounds awful honestly 😳

    Wow Stam really nailed the top end! The Beesneez sounds dull in comparison. The vintage U87 is not as bright and harsh as the modern U87ai but it doesn't sound dark or muffled like the Beesneez. Stam is doing magic. Neumann has some serious competition. The beesneez is also cardioid only. The BU67 is a different story.

    Nice comparison. The Stam is far better in my opinion. I'm really keen to hear the Stam against a Rode NTK, if you even have the ability to do that shoot out. Thanks. Keep singin'!

    The BU87 is so much smoother on the top end--less resonant and harsh.. Any solid eq like a massive passive would make that vocal sing! I'm a huge fan of how unafraid Beesneez is of going with a darker smoother sound in these modern times of overly bright mics.

      @@DavidDiMuzioLessons yeah I tend to like darker mics as my voice can be overly present in the 3-5k range, but with your voice I see why you'd prefer the Stam. It's closer tonally to where you'd likely end up after some EQ.

    I owned the Beesneez for about a month and it was so disappointing. Even more disappointing was lack of response from Beesneez regarding the capsule not being aligned straight with the grill when I received it (and by lack of response, I mean zero response) bummer. Anyway, I digress. The Stam sounds fantastic!

      @@DavidDiMuzio what would be ur opinion on tlm 103 vs sa87? I own the tlm 103 and cannot afford an original u87. Would the sa87 be a noticeable upgrade? (I am happy right now with my tlm 103). Thanks a lot and best regards!

      @@alejandro2066 I've never owned a TLM 103, and only used one once many years ago so I'm not going off a lot of personal experience, but Neumann makes really great stuff, and the TLM 103 sounds good in shootout videos I've watched so I don't see the SA-87 or even the Neumann 87ai as being huge upgrades sound wise. A very small upgrade at most would be my personal opinion. If you're happy with the TLM 103 then stick with it :)

    In comparison the stam sounds more like a u87ai and the beezneez sounds much like a vintage u87.
    I would go for the beezneez any day. Just add eq if i really have to make it sound like an Ai rather than the other way around

    • @HiredGoonage
      @HiredGoonage ปีที่แล้ว

      you can EQ Stam too. In fact, every almost every single microphone used on albums is going to have some form of EQ on it. Personally I like the Stam better

    • @andrewc661
      @andrewc661 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@HiredGoonage of course everything will have eq on it, that goes without saying. I produce and master music. When it comes to mics though, it's best not to have one that's too 'shiny' in tone. The Stam has that bright sibilant tone. Yes it's immediately likeable to the common ear but in the mix I would rather work with something that sounds a lot flatter with clarity and midrange detail. The bu87 fits the bill. Taking away brightness from a harsh mic is a big problem. Adding eq for some 'air' to a dark (less sibilant) sounding mic is a lot more workable than the other way around.
