Dear Molana Moderessi 1-Ijmah means unanimous agreement and there was NO unanimous agreement on the first political Caliph. Obviously. So there is Ijmah of Muslims on the Kaaba for example, so it cannot be wrong and we are all clear. So the argument of Ijmah on #1 is fundamentally flawed., 2- If we have to engage with the ideological divide we must engage on the core of who is the successor to the Prophet PBUH&P. Other items like Jamal or how you do salat come later. First, let's agree on the basics.
