Obedience to God is a source of life in this world and the next life ,the way to paradise is to honour your parents that is pleasing to God , paradise is at mother's feet ,when you were sick in your youth your mother did not sleep she worried about you, worshipping the unseen God who hears, sees, full of knowledge nothing is difficult for Allah most merciful,. Most gracious, most kind ,often forgiving . Putting trust in Allah is a great act . Enjoy the bounties of Allah.😇🧖🙆💆🤴👸👼👩‍🎓👶👩👩‍👩‍👦👨‍👩‍👧👩‍👩‍👧‍👦👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👧‍👧💐🌹🥀🌷🏵️🌻🙈🙉🙊🦜🐅🐆🐏🐑🐦🐤🐣🐥🦚🐟🦆🐧🍋🍒🍎🍉🍳🌶️🍅🥥🍇🍞🥖🧁🍵☕⛽⚓🚅🚈🚌🚐🚚🕌❤️💛💚💚💜💙🔴🖤🚭

With all due respect, Imam's parent was so pure, and so Havenly there is no comparison, with other parents, how many parents you can find in these days, those kinds of parents Allah ( SWT) referring to in Holy Quran(Surah Al Israel ). Think about the life they went through before accepting Islam and life after taking Shada. Are we as feature parents be like them? Think twice. JAK

Your message is very clear and authentic. I was not so sure about the magic mushrooms topic as it helps with rebuilding of broken neuro pathways but the rest, I really liked your teachings and started ziyarat e Ashura

Sayyedna, excellent points. May I advise that you please reference the verses of the Quran when you mention them and, to a lesser extent, the ahadith.

Salam Sayed, first of all, I want to give you a big thanks for these steps you are taking online delivering us this great religious content, especially at a time where we can't even go to the masjid. My father and I just recently had a big fight, he makes me so mad on an issue that he doesn't want to fix, every time it comes up he gets mad and starts shouting and yelling, so I got mad and lost my cool at him. now we haven't spoken in a week. I don't know how to deal with it now, can you please give me some advice? Ps, I did send him a message apologising but he hasn't texted or spoken to me since.

Syed I understand everything you said and some parents are constantly testing our patience by putting us down, and no matter how much I try to make them happy but they are satisfied for a little bit but just complain constantly.

those parents have become narcissistic and hard-hearted. do not hurt yourself or burden yourself with feelings of self-inadequacy. it’s very difficult but, I know you can get through it. create boundaries and do as much as you can, as long as it doesn’t start to damage and poison you.

@@Klowdie000 parents constantly hear our scholars telling us to respect our parents no matter what they do to us and because of this parents throw this in our faces but parents don’t care about the responsibility they have towards their kids because scholars don’t talk about it as much. I’m a single mother and I was arranged married by my parents to someone I didn’t like but still I tried to make the marriage work for 20 years. At the same time they would see that he wasn’t good to me and tell me to leave him but they wouldn’t support me financially because I have 2 kids. I took the step on my own and did everything myself and instead of being proud of me my mother was expressing jealousy because the government had given me a new apartment which is almost impossible it was all because allah swt was helping me. I was a very weak person with low confidence and my parents would tell me I need to become confident and when I did they still not proud of me. They only obsessed with their problems and their issues. Allah swt had blessed them with money I have asked them to give me my inheritance because I need it now not after but they ignore my pleas.

@@alsadat77 Hold fast sister, inshaAllah, the best outcome will happen for you. Continue softening your heart, don’t become them with your own child, and remember that Allah is the All-Just, your parents will answer either here or in the Hereafter.

@@Klowdie000 no I will never treat my children like that because they are the reason I push forward everyday. The only thing I’m afraid of is if I keep distance with my parents then one day I will be punished by Allah swt and my kids will do that to me. When my parents are sick I put them before my children and care for them but still they complain that I don’t care for them, never happy. My brothers and my kids have told me that I am extremely patient with our parents and they wouldn’t be able to do what I do. All I want them to say is that they are proud of me but they have forgotten they are parents.

@@alsadat77 The more you speak sister, the more i’m sure they have narcissistic tendencies. Realize this: They are mentally ill. They are harboring loads of trauma themselves and then, try to take it out on you. Allah swt Knows the situation you’re in. Do the most you can WITHOUT poisoning yourself. May Allah help us both. Ameen.

We have narrations that state your fathers are three; a father who brought you into this world, one who taught you, and one who got you married.
