I see so many people complain about modern metal and prog being too samey and bands not trying new things, but when a band tries to break the mould a bit, whether through song structure, chord progressions or using different sounds, people just call it shit and write it off because it's not what they're used to.
Seems to me this song is a critic of the new form of consuming content in the internet when you consume short videos and need more and more and scrolling the feed. Look how every 20s the song changes completely. Nice reaction Buddy

The vocalist and guitarist have been dabbling with DMT, so yes, this album is psychedelic friendly. And I know the music is weird, but I remember your journey of getting into BTBAM. This is the same type of deal where you really need to dive in to embrace it.

the song is definitely interesting i listened to it last night when it came out i was concerned until i looked the lyrics up today paring the video up to the lyrics and it started making sense to me. I definitely enjoy it that for sure.

Very creative, very Zepp influenced, a lot of just what they probably eventually wanted. They wanted musical creativity and I respect that. This is music, this breaks boundaries of generic music, it’s more of an experience.
