    The problem with this is that our brain has evolved to interpret sounds in terms of something already understood. It's a survival mechanism. That sound behind us might be a predator stalking us. We have also heard the sounds of nature like water flowing, rocks splitting and falling or fire. Often his carefully sculpted patterns of different frequencies and amplitudes with a random sounding rhythm sound like these events in nature. We have interpreted the sounds as random and accidental rather than as being intelligently composed patterns like Bach.
