Good evening Jaw Tooth. It is 19.36 overhere, Netherlands. Enjoying your video as nearly every day. Thank you again for our DDoT! And your pets-videos.
I have watched other railfan channels at times but I just prefer yours. I like the enthusiasm. And I like the clips of your critters at the end of most videos. I only have one critter, my dog Lennon, but he is near and dear to me. The fact that you showcase your furry friends shows heart.
1989 was when then tore the depot out. In 1991 I started work at Hardees and watch them remove both the sidings here and the one that went from Hardees, Batavia Electric and lastly the old Gas Station. I have a small piece of rail and two date nails the day that if was removed.
That's a hard working railroad :) Best horn around and always delivering to the customers. Their switcher is pretty cool - just a lot of fun to watch the progress.
Great site but still, I kinda wish the old station was still there. I've never seen it but I lament the loss of all railroad infrastructure. Awesome video, liked it much!
Hello I watch your videos every day Beautiful Beautiful video about beautiful trains from America. It's really nice to see how you make them so I'll keep watching but why are those trains so long. In the Netherlands in Holland they are very short 👍👍
Great video JT. Love seeing that CCET live action. Cool switching and seeing that heat kink, we get them a lot and half the reason we go a heavier guage rail to try to stop it.
Great video, Jaw Tooth (Brian). How do they fix a heat kink? Thanks for the update on train derailment. Great location on your video. Greetings from Virginia.
Do you remember, perhaps 50 years ago when most of the major RR yards only used those small switchers? (as in the first video from today) Now, the trains are so large, they use 2 or 3 LARGE engines in the yards. Everything changes: life is crazy these days!
JT, if it helps, Google Earth shows the building there on the 8/2009 image and gone on the 7/2010 image! And, don't you just want to run up to the end of the train, hop on, and sit and enjoy the ride while filming it all? That was so tempting (No one will no😂😂)!
Nice to see the upper level brush cut out where the platform most likely was. Curiosity prevailed so I checked the official guide from 60 years ago and had you stood there the Pocahontas would have Zipped by #3 WB about 6AM and #4 EB about 1210AM. Alas it was not an easy town to travel by rail as the Powhatan Arrow #25 WB made a discharge only stop @940PM while #26 EB made a flag stop @858AM. It's almost hard to believe that in the pre Wabash and Nickel Plate era that Cincinnati was the Far West Point for Norfolk and Western After 3. "wow it's hot out here or its about 90" your pop-up ad for Red Bull is supposed to appear.
I live in Oregon and a Short Line train to go from Coos Bay to Eugene Oregon and then on the tracks I came across with 1955 I'll be looking for some older ones on it
That rail out of U.S. Steel in Illinois probably came out of the Riverdale plant when it was open. I had a friend that worked there and he said they did do rails there.
Hello Jaw Tooth, just saw this and as always another great video of trains and crossings in Ohio and Kentucky and here in Batavia switching the trains this is great to see for train watchers and another great video of trains going through and the really amazing scenery as well Thank You Jaw Tooth. 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲💨
I love that MP15, but that poor thing is in the hands of the CET, meaning it will never be painted or kept up. It keeps looking worse and worse. It is probably headed for the same dismal demise as the older GE's on this line. Glad to see the short line railroads, but sad to see how they neglect their locomotives. I reckon they can't help it............
They could have taken that dead tree out of that old train station. That tree must have been important it could have been back in the Cowboys days and used as a Hanging Tree
Thank you for this additional video on the Cincinnati Eastern train that you showed us the other day. That was a great shot of the train coming across the Main Street bridge in Batavia, Ohio. The long train was struggling up the hill at Summit Road. It was nice seeing the MP15DC shoving the cars into the Huhtamaki Industrial Spur. Do you have another video of this train going out to Peebles, Ohio and to the storage area after the heat kink in the rail was repaired?
I didn't need coffee to wake me up with the sound of that horn! Glad that I didn't have my headphones on. Nice location for a video.
Glad you enjoyed it

2 engines, 27 cars, 3 conductors, 25 sacks of mail.
Does this railroad still have the other 2 engines with the company livery or have they replaced them?
Going to see more of them going into storage
Is the economy going bad again?

It really wasn't struggling at all. Sure, it's 27 cars but almost all of them were empties. The box cars are the only ones that may have been loads.
Worn out puppy.
