I love the Harvey Wallbanger sweater. I'm terribly sentimental, and making something so beautiful from your mother's stash is the best memorial. ❤ Hypnotic Yarn's base is so lush. What a generous skein to share! I understand your hesitation with the open fabric of your green/purple/striped sweater, but there's so much going on that I think it won't bother you so much one you're wearing it, especially on warmer days. Great episode!
I love that it got picked earlier this year. I'm almost done with the back - sleeves next! We've actually got some cooler days right now, so I'm going to wear my Ravello tomorrow. :)
Hi Anna. I just watched your podcast after returning from taking my dog for a walk. The weather is beautiful and the wildflowers are blooming. Your sweater projects are making me anxious to pick up my knitting again which has been on hold for a bit. My 11 year old great niece was showing me her journal and on one of the pages she had a bucket list which included learn to crochet. Well, I immediately said I can teach you and we are going to be getting together on the 18th. As I don't crochet much I am in the process of teaching myself how to crochet so I can teach her. Thank goodness for youtube and all of the people out there like yourself that are willing to share their knowledge. I now make my knitting swatches following your technique. Happy knitting!
It'll be so great to show her how to crochet - she'll always remember the experience. I crochet from time to time, but only small things now, but I used to make those big fancy pineapple lace doilies! It's amazing how accessible things are now with TH-cam! I'll keep the sweater mojo to keep your wips in mind. :)
Hello from Deep South Texas. Those Emotional Support chickens are addictive. I’ve made 8. Lol. I’ve given all but one away. Your green sweater is lovely. I like a looser gauge for our hot climate. The wildflowers color way is so pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Wildflowers! Enjoying your projects - your Stephen West blanket is beautiful and so is your purple and green sweater! I'm making a lot of green sweaters this year myself. Having a hard time resisting anything lime green or chartreuse - maybe due all the beautiful spring colors popping up this time of year.
I think it has to be the spring colors inspiring the green yarn purchases, lol. We've had a very wet spring and it's soooo green outside! Hoping I can show of the next purple and green sweater next time!
Another enjoyable podcast. Great to catch up with your projects. I’d love to receive the wildflower yarn. The dollar exchange keeps me from buying US yarns, but a few have sneaked through :-) Wildflowers.
It is fun to try out yarn that's not readily available locally. I picked up some Hillesvåg Tinde I was so intrigued seeing others use it, same for Holst Garn Supersoft. Can't wait until those come up in my picks!
The Ravello is very nice! Let us know how it wears with the loose gauge, it looks to be a nice light spring sweater. I'm working on a light fingering tee on a US size 3 needle. The fabric is nice but it takes a long time haha. The wildflower yarn is beautiful, would love to try it out. Those are not yarns very easily accessible here in Europe!
I think I'm going to do the Anna Tee in size 3.75 mm (I'm a tight knitter) so it will be more like the Dingley Dell I made. Definitely is slow going though!
The wildflowers here are beginning to bloom.
I always love going outside and picking me a boutique of wildflowers!
It is the time for wildflowers to bloom for sure.
The Hypnotic yarn in Wildflowers is so beautiful!
I love wildflowers! That yarn is perfect.
Wildflowers 💐🌼🌸🪻 Omg how beautiful that yarn is 😍🇳🇴

We've had so much rain in our late Texas spring, there's a second round of wildflowers this year.
I just planned wildflowers in my garden. Have a great day
I look forward to my every other Sunday Anna inspiration! Wildflower seed planting is happening here!
Thank you!
Wildflowers are beautiful this time of the year. You are such a great inspiration to keep digging into my stash to “shop” for new projects!
I really like the challenge when leftovers come up in my random picks and figuring out something neat to do. :)
Wildflowers I love your slipstravaganza blanket ❤
I'm really psyched how well it's moving along!

I've got 2 more chickens planned, just a fun fast knit! My sons are all down in Austin, so I visit there about once a year. :)
Some of my favorite flowers are wildflowers. I love your podcast!
Thank you!
What a stunning sweater you finished.
Thank you!
I love the yarn randomizer idea...I don't have a big enough stash to do that but I do enjoy yours.."Wildflower"
It definitely makes it like solving puzzles picking yarns this way - my stash grew way too much in the past 5 years. lol.

Wildflowers! Beautiful yarn…I’ve never worked with Hypnotic Yarns yet 👍🏻🙂

A friend gave me the same skein of wildflowers yarn. I would love to have a second skein to go with it.
It's really a great set of colors in it.
I just planted some wildflower seeds
