Thanks Louise - it's one of the few handspuns that I don't have lined up for a project at the moment! Hope you are well and have fully recovered from your trip. Take care xx
Thankyou for all the inspiration! Such an impressive amount of creativity.😍💫🧶 Have been in bed all day with a migraine from a warmer place.. have listened to you soothing voice 🙏🧶
OMG Les, You and Bev need to take your "show" on the road!!! What a grand family you have!!! I LOVE the humorous interaction you have with Bev!! She is a HOOT! CONGRATS on 6k..... I am soooo excited for you!!! You deserve many thousands more!! I was happy to see Ms Heidi turn around. Now while her little behind is very cute and adorable, her sweet face is so much cuter!!!
Thanks Sharon. It was fun to have Bev here. Next week it will be all about Heidi's face, as I recorded her climbing on me! Hope you are well and good luck in the draw xx
Lesley, I love the striped scarf! It's gorgeous. Not sure I'd have the patience to cast on 350 stitches. Thanks for another enjoyable podcast. Enjoy your Jack in the Green festivities!
Thanks Sandy. The only advantage of 350 stitches is not having to do many rows! Certainly, it had to be a mindless knit - something that long growing slowly wouldn't have got made. Hope all is well with you. Thanks and take care xx
You're hilarious when you say "there is a possibility that I may run out of yarn" I love to see what you add in together. Th fluffy cardigan is looking great and I'm looking forwad to seeing it finished and maybe knitting my own. Stay safe and keep well x
Hi Lesley. Eventually got around to watching. Home from a fab wonderwool weekend. Met lots of lovely people. Saw lots of lovely inspirational wonderwool. Came home with a couple of tunisian crochet hooks. (Fancy having a go). Mr Attic bought my birthday present from Wee County Yarns. Will have to wait a few weeks to see what he chose. Their stand was stunning. I love seeing all the handspun projects. I rather liked the muddy one that's going into your ranunculus. Super long scarf is also a favourite. See you on Friday for the vlog. I may have recovered. I always suffer after a weekend away, but It's worth it. Have a good week. Xx
Hi Angela. Glad you had a show - your stand looked great on Instagram xx Enjoy your purchases and hope the recovery is smooth and quick. Take very good care xx
I love the colours you've chosen for the Exploration Station. Another pattern I own but have yet to knit. The little crochet shawlette is beautiful and perfect as a present 👍 Hope the May festivities go well. My parents were there one year and really enjoyed one of the parades xx
I like your little green and blue shawl. Hope your health is better in May. My health news: it's over a year since my surgery so I had a colonoscopy (camera through Scarlett). No cancer. Yay! Take care, Les. ❤
I so enjoy your podcasts! You r very uplifting. I have wanted to knit lace and was given a Hank of Nellie and Eve Dales 50:50. It is so pretty but a tad rough. I saw your silk cowl previously and was inspired to knit a lace cowl combining the N&E with another softer wool blend. It is working up so nicely! Thank you for all the handwork you present.
Hi Cathy. I am so glad that the yarn combination is working. And you are inspiring me, as I have some not so soft silk, and you are convincing me to combine it with something else to use it. Thanks and take care xx
Hi Lesley, another month gone 😮😂! I knitted the Arctic Light jumper, the weather being what it is (with lots of cables and what not, a delight for fighting memory loss), I’m finishing another one from what is surely by now a vintage pattern from a book I bought in my younger years, I’m still working on my cotton rug, and only need 20 more cm (over 130cm … imagine the number of stitches on 3mm needles)The garden is filling up nicely with rosebuds that are ignoring the foul weather. Hope you have a nice month of May! Take care xx
Hi Nadine. I had a look at that pattern - a beautiful item, and you are definitely a better person than me! But judging by the fact that you are making a rug on 3mm needles, your knitting style is much more patient than mine. Enjoy the roses and let's hope there is sun for them. Thanks, as always and take care xx
@@NotQuiteEnoughYarn The rug is a basic garter stitch project meant to make a huge dent in my stash of cotton balls. The dent is laughable ☹️. I envy your skills. Cheers xxx
So happy that this month you devoted some time to hand spun! I actually got to Wonderwool and it was absolutely fantastic! I even attended a drop spindle wool school workshop! I am totally inspired to master hand spinning! I’m not sure I shall ever be able to go again so I savored every moment and might have made a few purchases 🤔 If you ever get the chance, please try and go because we know you “ might not have quite enough wool” Take care and thank you for a very entertaining video x
Oh Madam a dangle cluster. Imagine Kenneth Williams voice! 😅 We so have a similar mind set. Love the red floof jacket. I think it might be to posh for dog walking. I have some 1980's mohair. No idea as yet what it is destined to be. It's still deciding after the shock of not being turned into a 1980's shoulder padded masterpiece. Of to Skegness next week. We are going to Butlins for the first time. Basically it was £59 from Monday to Friday! So why not. Ever been to that part of our island, so keen to take a wander. Plenty of time to do a bit of knitting during the journey. I'm learning to listen to my hand and taking breaks and stopping, mid row if I have to, when I know I should. Can you believe it's May already! Be December before we know it. Very proud Nanna news. My 11, going on 20, year old granddaughter is crocheting herself a blanket, holding two DK weights. A white and all my scraps, odd balls etc. Really so very proud of her. She started with a single crochet and now doubles (US terminology, blame TH-cam. I didn't realise for a long time there was a difference). Oh love the new scarf and the dangle cluster shawl. I had to say it again!😂 Have a fabulous May. xxJane 🐑🌼
Hi Jane. Dangle Clusters - ooh matron! Yay to your Granddaughter crocheting - not suprised you're proud of her, that's great. Enjoy Skeggy - I've never been either, hope you have a great time and are able to craft and rest in suitable measure. Thanks so much and take good care xx
How could you not knit something with dangle clusters. You are a very prolofic knitter/crocheter but still the stash doesn't go down. Oh well, it's not from lack of trying. I'm off to Wonderwool tomorrow. I'm in that dangerous position where I don't need anything. 🙄
Dangle clusters got renamed instantly to dingleberries in my head.
Ha! They are dangle berries in this house - and my mind went in the same direction xx
Forgot it was time for month end. I am super grateful for your visit
And I am always grateful for yours. Take very good care of yourselves xx
Love the latest spun. Beautiful colour. Looking forward to seeing what you make with it xx
Thanks Louise - it's one of the few handspuns that I don't have lined up for a project at the moment! Hope you are well and have fully recovered from your trip. Take care xx

Oh, you poor thng. I hope that the migraine has eased - that's no fun at all. Take very good care xx
Thankyou ❤️ I was feeling a lot better Monday and yesterday and today I’m back in normal routines. Wishing you a pleasant May Day🌻🌞

I agree, I am 67 and if I want to knit emotional support chickens, nobody can tell me not to.
Absolutely right, Linda. Enjoy them xx take care xx

The lady who created the pattern with the dangle clusters- I can giggle at her thought of what to call them 😊The shawl is very pretty.
I know! It makes you wonder what names were rejected! Thanks and take care xx
I can hear the sea in the back ground , it’s lovely ❤❤❤😊
Ha! I don't notice it anymore, but glad that you liked it. Hope you are doing well xx
Loved your omAGE TO WAYNES WORLD!
Thank you!
Hope all is well xx

I would actually get bored if I didn't run out of yarn!
Happy knitting and take care xx
Some lovely projects you have going Leslie. I absolutely love your long scarf! It’s gorgeous!
Thanks Patricia - I was pleased with how the colours came out. Hope life is treating you kindly xx
Have a wonderful weekend drumming Lesley x
Thanks Muireann - I managed to drum on the sunny day and not the wet one! xx
Oooooh vicar 🤭😌 ‘dangle clusters’!
Oh it had to be said Lesley. X you’ve made me smile at last.
Hi Catherine - glad to make you smile and sorry that it took so long. Take very good care of yourself xx
Love your Fern shawl and the handspun that you used gorgeous!
Thanks so much - I was so pleased with how it all turned out. Hope all is well with you xx
Even though I watch the vlogs and see FOs & WIPs it’s lovely to see them all together at the end of the month :-)
That's so kind - thanks very much. Hope all is well with you xx
your scarf is lovely even if it is long :) I so look forward to the end of the month and watching your podcast. It always makes me happy.

All the yarns are beautiful. I actually have been knitting on a sock. I still need to finish the sweater! Oh well, it will get done. Lol Take care.
Hi Linda.
It will get done - enjoy the sock, in the meantime xx
