This cinematic is a representation of the past present and future. At the very beginning we see Tryndamere laying on the ground and he sees a faint glimpse of kindred (this will be important later). Then the first battle scene is in the past in ancient Demacia (we are talking over 1000 years ago) and we see the two sisters Kayle and Morgana who together both make the aspect of justice, basically they are both the god of justice, Morgana judges and Kayle punishes. We see Kayle and Morgana fighting Aatrox who is a darkin (darkin is a corrupted god warrior and Aatrox is the only cannonical person to kill an aspect being the aspect of war pantheon). Past them fighting I am unsure of why they are fighting each other I would assume it is part of the Darkin War which started due to the emperor of Shurima Azir dying and all the God warriors went corrupt and turned into the Darkin and they all vied for power with the two strongest being Aatrox and Xolaani.
Next we see the future, a village in Ionia is being attacked by what I assume to be the Shadow order and the old man who steps up is a much older Yasuo (he was in the Awaken cinematic for reference). Thus knowing its a older Yasuo and this being in the future there is a lot of unknowns and there is more questions than answers.
Finally we are in the present and we return to Tryndamere, the fact that he saw a glimpse of Kindred at the start of the cinematic its no surprise he is fighting them becasue Kindred is LoL's version of death, a lamb (the white on with a bow) for a painless death for those who embrace death and a wolf (the large black one) for a painful death to those who choose to run or fight. Since Tryndamere is fighting Kindred we know he is close to death at this point, when his eyes go red he enters "undying rage" basically he becomes so angry he cannot die. Plot twist Tryndamere is seeing Kindred and thinking he is fighting Kindred when in fact he was figthing the people who were surrounding him.
Then we see 2 blue arrows fly past Kindred and we see Ashe emerge and Kindred disappear meaning Ashe saved Tryndamere from death, also side note Ashe is Tryndamere's wife. I do apologize for the long comment but there is a lot happening in the cinematic and I thought to add context incase something was confusing, I hope this helps and if you have more question I'm willing to try and answer them for you.

I'll try my best to give a quick description of my favorite of the three scenes we saw here! This is about the dark haired man we saw fighting in the snow.
His name is Tryndamere, the king of a frozen region named the Freljord. When he gets close to death, as we saw where he was surrounded by multiple enemies there, he enters a blackout rage for a short time where he literally can not be killed. When this rage happens, he loses sight of the enemies around him and instead sees only Kindred, the literal spirit of death that is coming to claim him. Think like the grim reaper. This spirit is portrayed as two linked entities named Wolf and Lamb; one is the white two legged creature that was shooting him from afar with the bow, whose name is Lamb, and the other is the black ghost-like wolf who was rushing and biting at him, whose name is Wolf. Him fending them off is literally him fighting off his own death! When he didn't die easily and actually fought back, nearly wounding Lamb if she didn't dodge at the last second, this is why she gives him a curious head tilt; someone resisting death so heavily in this way is rare, so she was confused! When the two arrows fly past her and past Tryndamere to kill his attackers, this is his wife, Ashe, coming to rescue him from being killed. This is why Kindred vanishes at that moment; Tryndamere was no longer in danger of dying, so the reaper left him. With Ashe having rescued him, she shoots an arrow straight up to act as a rescue flare, or possibly as a way to scout for any more enemies around them.

The cinematic is about The Past, The Present and The Future.
The Past is of Kayle and Morgana, before they decided to go their separate ways of dealing with justice. It also explains how Aatrox already knows them despite not knowing Demacia itself, simply cuz at the time this happened Demacia wasn't Demacia yet.
The Future is of Yasuo, fighting one last time when Ionia got invaded again and at the end Kindred kills him while Yasuo accepting the arrow of the Lamb.
The Present is of Tryndamere, and his non acceptance of death, both by the Wolf and the Lamb, due to his partial "anger fueled blood magic. Everytime he ults he sees the actual death - Kindred , instead of his enemies.

I pulled up the video before watching any reactions, and even then, it brought tears to my eyes. The whole message of "I'm still here," along with the theme of pushing through adversity is very significant to me. I've been through a lot over the last few years. Over the last decade, honestly (though, it was one of those 'if you put a lobster in a pot of cold water and raise the temperature, they won't notice until it is too late' kind of decades). But I've survived it and I'm moving on from all of that, and in the last year, as I've been focusing on rebuilding myself, this whole message of "I may be beaten down and tired, but I am still here despite all of that" is very much frontmost in my brain.
But, apparently, this one is a fully canon cinematic from League, and it is filled to the brim with lore deep cuts. I actually watched a video from Necrit going over the lore in it. I knew... next to none of the lore going into this, but one thing is that the character with the round glowing eyes and the wolf are, fundamentally, this world's embodiment of death, and they show up in each of the three scenes. In the one with the 'valkyries,' as you called them, it doesn't step in because that great demon isn't able to die. In the middle story, you see the wolf as the arrows are flying up to come down on the samurai character (who is the guy with the wind powers, just decades later than the in-game present), and the one that comes straight for him is the same kind of glowing arrow that we see the death archer firing in the last scene, implying that this is his death years later. Most interestingly, the scene implies that he's at a point in life where he has forsaken killing - none of the bandits that he fights are killed. Even the leader, who he blasts with the wind... it seems as though he is knocking him away from the rain of arrows. And the last scene is a character... having a kind of near-death experience, with some of the implications being that he isn't actually fighting death, but rather the warriors who were surrounding him in the first place. Phenomenal storytelling all around!

Lemme give you a bit of lore and game play references to help you understand this cinematic. It follows a path of PRESENT, PAST, (possible)FUTURE, PRESENT.
Kindred is the grim reaper of this universe. Kindred comes in 2 forms. The Lamb and The Wolf. When death comes for you, you can accept or refuse death. If you accept, Lamb fires an arrow which kills you quickly and painlessly. If you refuse, you will be mauled by Wolf for a longer, more painful death. Kindred is seen in every story line of this cinematic, though in different ways.
The first scene once the lyrics start is the Past. Ancient Demacia, protected by the 2 aspects of Justice, Kayle and Morgana. Essential a mortal given the status of a god. They are battling a Darkin known as Aatrox. Aatrox is immortal. He cannot ever die. He wants to die and sees the destruction of the world as a way to ensure that he can't come back from death. (this part is important for Tryndamere)
At the end of the fight, you see Morgana cast aside her mother's sword, who happened to be the Aspect of Justice before passing the title onto her daughters. Morgana isn't as strongly a believer in following in her Mother's path as Kayle is. Casting aside the sword and using her Dark Magic is why Kayle gave her that disgusted look. But Morgana isn't evil, and actually uses her powers for good. Kayle takes Justice too far. No care for circumstance, just dolling out justice for crimes. Killing petty thieves because they transgressed... ya know. This later causes a whole situation between the 2, but that's a story for another time. After Kayle burns Aatrox, his body is destroyed and is sealed within his weapon. Remember the "As We Fall" music video and how there was another being trapped within a bow who tore apart 2 men? That's what Darkin are essentially.
But in the smoke, you notice a silhouette of the Lamb. Aatrox wants to die, and accepted his death. But he can't die, thus the Merciful part of death was watching, but not acting.
Next we see an Ionian Village being raided. The man in the hat is Yasuo, in the future. In his lore, he was exiled for being accused of killing his master. He didn't but the wind technique he uses was used to kill his master, so exiled he becomes. His life was filled with killing and killing. You see him without his sword and has a staff instead, hinting that in his old age, he gave up killing and the wind technique. But to defend the village, he has to use both. But instead, notice how in one shot, you see his sword missing a person, but surrounded in wind. He wasn't killing these people. He was knocking them out of the way. He wasn't gonna kill anybody else. At the end, you see the arrow storm coming towards him, and a silhouette of The Wolf watching him. Hinting that he could continue fighting and die doing so. He had the ability to use his wind technique to deflect these arrows, but instead closes his eyes and you see the blue arrow from the Lamb, ending him quickly and painlessly. He accepted his death and was given mercy by Kindred. (this part was also a vision of a possible future, not exactly canon.... though I think its a beautiful way for Yasuo to go out, dying while protecting innocents)
And lastly, we have Tryndamere. Remember the Aatrox part I said was important? Well Aatrox fought Tryndamere in the past where Aatrox destroyed Tryndamere's tribe and blessed Tryndamere with Darkin blood magic. That's called his undying rage. In game play, it literally prevents anything from killing Tryndamere for a few seconds. It's his ultimate ability. But he's not exactly immortal like Aatrox. Its blood magic, and can imbue him with strength and superhuman resilience. Basically he gets so angry that he can't be killed. The reason he was blessed by Aatrox was likely because Aatrox was trying to use Tryndamere as a new body to corrupt and carry the blade that has Aatrox's soul within (again remember the As We Fall video, where the Darkin Varus was trapped within his bow and corrupts 2 men to carry the bow). So back into the cinematic.
Tryndamere is waking up in a fight against a warring tribe. He is close to death, and Kindred appears to claim his life. In reality, he's fighting the enemy soldiers, but due to how close to death he is, he sees himself fighting Kindred instead. It's his last legs, his undying rage keeping him alive to be able to fight off death. He's not accepting death, so wolf goes for him. There are moments where he might've faltered and nearly gave up, so Lamb fires arrows at him. But at the end, his wife, Ashe, shoots 2 soldiers behind him, saving him from being killed by them. Kindred being the spirit of death knew that the second those arrows were fired by Ashe, Tryndamere wasn't gonna die, which is why Lamb lowered her bow before the arrows were even past her.
The whole cinematic revolves around death, and accepting or fighting it.

    The lore of the cinematic:
(The past) In first scene we see Kayle and Morgana, they are fighting side by side both having their powers, when both of them are pushed to their limits Morgana gives away her powers as aspect of justice and binds Aatrox even if for a moment, then we can see Kayle taking Morgana powers representing her taking Morgana's sword and looking at her sister with disgust, when Morgana falls to the ground Kayle ascends and kills the host of Aatrox, we can see lamb in the flames showing his death. (Aatrox not really die but his host die)
(The future) In the second scene we see bandits raiding Ionian village and Yasuo as old man standing his ground, each time he uses his power bondages on his arm unravel and at the end we can see his acceptance and Kindred's arrow ending his life, we can see Wolf's eyes in the shadows right before arrow falls.
In the last scene we see Tryndamere fighting against a group of enemies, it is represented as him fighting Kindred (Death) both Wolf and Lamb refusing to die, his red eyes represent his ability to become immortal for short period of time, in the final scene we can see La,b lowering her bow when Ashe (Tryn's wife) saves him from last enemies just in the moment he is about to die, seeing that its not the time to claim Tryndamere, Kindred disappears.
This cinematic represents that death is timeless showing one scene from the past one from present and one from future, it also shows both aspects of Kindred, when Aatrox's host dies we see Lamb idle while Wolf delivers the final blow, Wolf hunts down those who resist death.
When yasuo dies the Wolf waits as the Lamb's arrow is the final moment. Lamb brings peaceful death to those that accept it.
Tryndamere fights both Wolf and Lamb defying natural order using his powers but in the end does so successfully avoiding death.
