I was there in BMORE opening night I said the same thing, out all the music in the world and then there is TOOL, never heard anything like it before or since.
Last night was insane! So happy I got to see Tool at msg again. First time was way back in 2001 during Lateralus. 2 incredible shows. 22 years later they are still killing it. Soundcheck was killer. Those of us in the back row got to meet Adam during the group photo. The coolest, most chill dude. Very sweet and funny. Seeing them again tonight. Best band in rock. Thank you for posting this 🥹🥹❤️❤️🤘🤘
@@timmyringjr.6821 Sober and Descending if I remember correctly. Before we were allowed to go in we could hear Maynard singing. I would’ve loved to see that.
@@MikeysJukeBox good shit, they pulled out sweat for night two I see as well, I’m definitely not dissatisfied with the set I saw in November, not at all, but fuck 😆
Thanks so much for one of the better shot videos I've seen of my favorite band! I love how they snapped in the middle of the song with that crazy instrumental. It must have been insane to be there
Yeah the sound for sure. Especially w Tool. I’d still see em if it was pitch black, but in my view they could improve the visuals esp in the bigger venues. Rush had a nice blend of both worlds with their live productions. Muse, U2, Chili peppers recently. Keep on playin!
MJK kept checking the crowd temperature and they didn't give enough energy, IMO. I mean the majority of this audience are past 50 in seated floor tickets.
The music isn’t representative of that kind of energy anymore, the 90’s tool was more of a metal sound that you could get up and move around to, the progressive side of tool that really birthed with lateralus is more sit back and chill type of vibe, same band but two totally different sounds and styles from lateralus onward
My dream is someday they have cameras on all four of them and it’s shown on the video screen behind them so you can actually see Maynard and the boys from anywhere in the venue. The imagery is OK I guess but I’m there to actually see the musicians play and the singer sing (imagine that) and unless you are way upfront you’re out of luck. Tool’s major weakness live, the frontman hides in the dark so it’s like watching a trio with no singer and a bunch of undercooked visuals from the 90’s. Light show is solid and the sound is jaw dropping but overall they get a Tommy Boy D+ in terms of actually being able to watch them play their instruments.
40 yrs of shows too numerous to count. My point was lots of live productions have cameras setup that feed a screen behind the band so you can see some close up stuff everywhere in the stadium. Wld love to see Tool have a little more of that. Maybe it’s the guitar player in me but I like seeing the instruments a little more. And the lead singer obviously haha.
@@kevinfarrell2897 I'm a guitar player as well, and I don't care at all about "seeing" the musicians. I'm not there to see a bunch of dudes jumping around on stage. Great video .. wish my videos looked that good !! I dont know which night was better.. night 2 we got jambi , sweat and 46 & 2 .. both nights amazing .. 22 years since last msg show and they just get better its crazy!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🫡
Best band on earth❣️
i was real close on the right side for night 2, got to watch Danny play for two hours, was like being in his living room lol. beyond cool
Theses 4 musicians are from another universe!!! Great video!!!!

From a universe where everything is in D minor
@@sirrickardjameses pretty much. You think you could write 3 bangers in d minor let alone a whole career??? I would imagine it's harder than it looks

I was there today they ended with 46 & 2 amazing show. I love Tool
Absolutely amazing show. They sounded phenomenal even after all this time ❤
I hope they record and release a live album soon.
They will start recording their next studio album this year though

May be an e.p Danny said but he did say they can do what they want because their record contract is done and they aren't tied to an label.
@@indridcold1206 I would love that but don't think Adam would want that so probably not going to happen
Tool plays in another league
Driving from MD. to see the Saturday show. I was at the Wednesday show, and it was soooo good. I'm driving up to watch it again.
Baltimore show was amazing! I wish they would have included this in the setlist however
Not only did the garden get schism they got the EXTENDED VERSION of schism 😭 that’s crazy 🌀
We also got flood and intolerance 😅 haha great night

Still going strong, after all these years. Awesome video!
Wow wish they had played this on the first leg of the tour. Was an amazing show in Boston in November but this would’ve put it over the top.
I was there! Great concert. As always. Tool rules!

7empest tomorrow?👀
Dude 7empest + Rosetta Stoned would be insane
Wish they would scrap the intermission, Danny's solo & Chocolate Chip Trip and add 4 classics to the set list!
Yeah! Fuck em. The 60yr olds don't need a break!
Chocolate chip trip is a fun time
Exactly like Eulogy and H.
If Pink Floyd were more of a metal band.
I wish they would pushit with this song,
Conspiracy Theory: Bob Ross is a serial killer. Every painting he does is another burial site or crime site.
