I found myself smiling uncontrollably when Aerith surprised Cloud as he sneaks out of Sector 5. "Well look who it is. Talk about a coincidence." Magical.
This is Cloud and Aerith’s theme. The anticipation of a coming goodbye. Falling for the wrong person but somehow it feels right with a sense of calmness and beauty.
Yup, same. If you haven't seen Maximilian Dood's playthrough of Chapter 9, you need to. When this track starts after Cloud's vision and he and Aerith are on their way to Sector 6, he says, "I feel like I'm at Disneyland," and he's right! It's almost euphoric, ya know? The perfect game at the perfect time...
Same, to me this song makes me feel like, having a chance at the impossible, to be able to spend time with somebody you lost a long time ago.. tbh, this song makes me feel like it would be playing if my father could be with me one last time..damn
This video is just about what I did when this music started playing. Was immediately touched by it and just wanted to soak it in and listen and take my time. One of the most memorable parts of the Remake for sure.
A friend just found this for me. I love this track so much. I loved the entire remake but something about this hit hard. I think because it reminds me so much of interrupted by fireworks and what's to come.
For me too. It's the ending song of of an afternoon and evening of Cloud and Aerith escorting each other so they can spend more time together, which I call their 1st unofficial date!🌸🎀☁️💖
@@olahnzaft2311 sorry to spoil it Aerith remake: gotta look forward, not back In og, cloud also asked Aerith if she and Zack had ever been serious as a dating pair; Aerith says "No" but that she liked him for a while.
I always remenber this song particularly i listened for first time in march, when the lockdown in UK was really strong and u couldnt do anything outside. I am glad ff 7remake came at that time, it helped me s lot to go through that moment and this song was my favorite together with the thugs theme hehe.
I hope this score comes back for part 2. I am trying to think of good scenes. Gondola at Gold Saucer, when Aeris is at the machine with Red XII's grandfather and possibly when Clouds dreams of Aeris in the forest stating "Leave Sephiroth to me", on her way to Temple of Ancients. What other scenes do you guys think? Also, is this not the music from when you first arrive at Mount Coral?? When you are crossing the broken roller coaster tracks. Im pretty sure this theme is from that scene in 1997 just reimagined.

this track goes a long way to justify mistakes made by the remake. listening to this while looking up at the plate and seeing people on late-night trysts amidst the scrap and rock of the slums made me see midgar in a new light, a strange beauty in darkness (also combined with aerith's earlier profound statement about midgar after leaving the church). midgar is like a living metaphor for society. you have the obvious elite up in their tower, and there's the productive masses living on the plate of progress they've made. ostensibly sturdy, it is deceptively fragile and can be brought crashing down easier than we'd all like. thru the cracks are the poor and downtrodden, but there's no sense taking too much pity on them. they eke out a living and live their lives like anyone else, and their hardships allude to the assertion that the things that matter arent always obtained with wealth
@@davidemerediz336 I see, as a native of Japan (a permanent resident in the U.S), I got to play both English & Japanese modes. The Japanese mode has a lot more variations (way too many, IMO) than the English mode, and I think they can reduce the lead time by reducing so many different lines. Again, there were way too many that was probably eating up the lead time. I hope they reduce it so that they can produce FF7R-2 in 2 years rather than 5 years. The voice actor for Cloud for both modes did a great job. Rude & Reno (the Japanese actor for Reno has deceased very sadly) were pretty close in both modes.
Most of the music in this rehash was garbage. The Honeybee Inn? I'd rather die than ever hear that crap again. That awful J-Pop crap in the tunnels? Same. But this. This scene was magical. Nothing on par with the evocativeness of the original, because evidently composers have no idea how to use the score to create the mood and atmosphere anymore, but this scene. Something about this track and scene makes my soul feel at peace in this chaotic world.
