If you want to get most a time a specific view like front view you can ask it to, A circle of intricate aztec patern engraved in metal, font view, symetric, you can add as much precision as you want in your prompt
This is a really fast way to get this high detailed stuff. I used it to make buildings in a like gothic style. Just for some background objects and it worked quite well.
I don't support fully AI generated cgi or vfx but what I DO support is AI assistance. Using these tools to speed up workflows I think will become incredibly useful 👍
What about Snapchat filters? Those are graphics generated by a computer, CGI. Where do you draw the line? Inevitably, without fail, these tools will be used to automate the entire process of content creation, from idea formation to the final edit, sound design, and style. It's going to put people out of jobs, like myself who works in the television industry as an editor. But it's inevitable, and it's awesome that it's even possible at all. I fully support AI development in all of its forms.

Hey Max it's perhaps worth mentioning you don't have to go outside of Blender 3d to do the same thing now. In fact using Stable diffusion inside Blender is much quicker and has many added benefits. Dream textures allows for auto mapping and depth maps and a whole bunch of other useful 3d implementations. Additionally AI render is worth a look too.
Great idea! You can throw your favorite texture photos in to midjourney after using /describe. It'll generate 4 super detailed prompts that will likely describe how to consistently generate front facing photos
I found if u add “ texture image, front facing texture image for material” to the front of your prompt it will make it face the camera more often instead of being on an angle

That was me a year ago, but start slow.. Watch your favorite 3d artist tutorials and follow them step by step.. That's what I did every day, because I was so eager to learn it. I'm far from a professional now, but I can say that I definitely know and understand the basics :) and you can too!
Its pretty cool but doesn't really impress beyond novelty, part of my appreciation of visuals is the knowledge of how hard or time consuming they are to accomplish, so assistance this extreme, while cool looking, isn't really better looking or more impressive to me than non ai workflows.

Make me a Spielberg style movie about aliens fighting robot whales, starring a 25 year old Keanu Reeves with 30% more muscle definition." No more creators or performers. But it sounds great as a consumer.

They only see the short term convenience, not to the fact no one will be motivated to create new things with their own minds in the future. Only AI generated overflowing images and products that people don't even value would remain.
How do you make a “light catcher”, so that I can add it to live footage. (Im trying to make a scene with a flamethrower simulation. But I can’t find a way to “catch” the light for the render like you would do with a shadow catcher to add it to my live footage. Any ideas ?
I personally think BlueWillow is far better than MJ. BW is 100% free tool. Though BlueWillow is so early stage. I experimented with BW, and I'm really amazed by the results

I understand why many artist and designers are outrage but how does one not take advantage of this? Whether we want to or not, A.i is here to stay. So why not take advantage of it and use it with your are. I do it and find it to be such a loop hole in to getting my art done a lot faster. It’s like your own personal assistant
People are in straight up denial. Embracing this means very, very short term gains. The inevitable conclusion is entertainment created BY the audience. You will not be part of that transaction. No you will not pivot to "prompt writer". That will never be a job. Skill is the greatest barrier to art, not ideas.

All you need is a recent nvidia card (30 or 40 series) and switch from cpu to gpu rendering and activate denoising. I'm using a 3090 and it's almost real time, completely stopped using eevee ever since :D

Exactly. I used Blue Willow recently and experiment with it. It recently launched V2 with a brand new model upgrade. Now I got more better-quality images with more aesthetic outputs
On Midjourney, there's also a flag to making tiling textures, which is insanely powerful

at ~5:10, when you talk about it being hit or miss on the perspective, try adding "front perspective" or something along those lines to the prompt

Yas you'd just have to recreate the materials with Unreal's node system, but with the same textures and 3D models you could !

What PC are you using? Your Cycles is too fast! I was thinking you were using EEVEE, but when I saw the glass, then I noticed it was Cycles!
