Hi Donny Been Watching your Video's and They Are Excellent I have a question for you Bought a 592XP In August 2022 It has Always Been Hard Since New Starting Cold or Hot Checked The Fuel lines And Fuel Filter They Seem to be ok And the Spark Pug Looks Ok As well asked the dealer for a Firmware update He said it would cost $100.00 i guess thats an hourly rate figured it would be Free since Its an update and i bought it new from them Is that a Valid Charge for the Firmware update the dealer does seem to be interested in doing it at all also the saw seems to be not running as well as it should i use it for Firewood cutting up 30" rounds into quarters then split them also the top cover has a crack from being out in the cold weather it is in the rear and goes through the Orange plastic into the Black Plastic seems very odd for me Can you help me out? Or give me a Phone number to call Husqvarna Customer Service I live in New England Thanks Stan
Would love to know whats up with my 592. Only run for 1.5hrs according to the computer, guy said theres no codes. But it'll start then idle for 20 seconds then turn off. I took the carb apart once and it would idle for ever after but very rich (smokey but same fuel I run in my other autotune saws). Yesterday I read a fuel pipe to the bulb can kink and lo and behold it was kinked, sorted that out by shortening the pipe slightly, and it then ran perfect, cut great idled great I was ecstatic. Tried it an hour or two later and its gone back to idleing for only 20 seconds!
Hey donny have u ever herd of the 592xp not fully returning to idle my new one will run fine till it warms up then cut a tree sticks 1/4 throttle but the cable isn't getting stuck everything works smoth..the only way to stop it is apply chain brake or even touch the chain to a block of wood.

is it possible to convert 952 auto tune to manual carb?
do you think it will be able to stand up of 20 years of intermittent use like 395 ?

Your carb intake probably ripped sucking air
Hey Donny, over here in Quebec 91 octane now has 10% ethanol. Would you suggest 91 or regular is fine for small engines ?
You should use 91 or better in the new saws but older ones and regular small engines you can use less octane dam ethanol out there eh
Quick question, if you lost autotune due to destroyed wiring or you just take take it out, how would the saw run if not at all?
My 572 had the same thing happen with the decomp.
