Boycott Effect in Particle Sedimentation Simulation Using Unresolved CFD-DEM

We simulate using Lethe, a case of particle sedimentation in sugar-water mixture. We show the presence of the Boycott effect when the tube is slightly inclined. This inclination results in a circulation of the fluid leading to fluid and particle accelerations much bigger than those for the vertical tube.
