- Welcome to the latest episode of Stream Highlights! A big stream, this episode was streamed just after the release of the new Edinburgh Scenery for MSFS, hence the business. Unless there is some major event at EGPH, the airport is most likely never going to see this level of traffic for the near future. With no delivery online, we had to handle everything ourselves!
NOTE: A large portion of the original stream has been cut, due to a period of quietness at the start. This is the busiest part!
I would class this as an almost perfect controlling session, especially due to the high traffic. A lot can be learnt, if you are a pilot or controller alike!

You know you can decrease the voice for VATSIM app down to a small box and change the setting so it’s always on top, then you don’t have to constantly go to start menu to get out of your (weirdly) full screened euroscope? You’d still be able to see last call sign transmission.

Gotta love if the session starts with you having the ryanair confirm he will hold short of alpha just to make sure, him confirming and then rolling onto alpha anyway :D

Good Video. How do you go about starting as ATC?
Starting as ATC in VATSIM is a relatively long process but rewarding. Go to the VATSIM home page, there should be information on the documentation page, though tbh it’s not showing up on my phone browser but it does show up on desktop.
Check your division’s web page for specific details. Each country does it differently.
How do you find atc interesting?
If you dont find it interesting that would beg the question how you find commenting on ATC videos you are not interested in interesting?

So I can remove that little tag before the SID? (JAL8737 Heavy was me.) I just copy/paste flight plans as created by SimBrief.
Depending on the software used, they can get in the way of routing. Most deliveries have a responsibility of deleting anything besides the route. I think they are injected by simbrief if you enabled step climbs when filing.

Depends on the country, each division will care differently to it. In the UK, if you are not step climbing, you don’t require it.
