    That is excellent animation! Maybe a few quibbles on some things but all in all a beautiful representation of what train watching would have been like in the 1950s.

    La Plata is a very historic rail fanning spot in the state of Missouri I don't like the way how you're modeling the early to mid-50s and I'm seeing some 1990s and 2000s that are stuff on here but there's some little content available from trainz and I appreciate the work I do love seeing the cat whisker and cigar ban blue and yellow f units through the 1950s and forward the cigar band was produced by the Santa Fe in 1951 and the cat whisker in 1939

    Very nice video ! Well done. I couple things I saw...which made me go ......hmmm....and I'm just being nit picky..was a little kid that looked like Larry Mondello from Leave it Beaver who smoking a cigarette ( probably got it from Eddie).....and graffiti on the signal box. You didn't see graffiti on stuff back then unless it was in a ghetto in some city.

      I agree. Trainz needs better folks.

    Tranz needs to have some of the civilian clothing and uniforms and vehicles match the time period. Kinda looks weird when while depicting the early 1950s a 1990's era panel van or box truck scoots by or the track MoW personnel are wearing hard hats and reflective vest.

      Sorry, route is being entirely rebuilt using TransDem with Orthophotos, still much to be done.

    the track sounds are atrocious, good otherwise. Trainz needs to fix those clickety-clack annoying wheel sounds.

    • @arrow1414
      @arrow1414 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They can be out of sync depending how fast the trains are depictedas going and how many wheels the trucks have, but it is good that they are there. Need more flange squeal though.

      @@arrow1414 I'm referring to the fact that they are horrible period. Outdated, they've been in the game since the first version. Trains do not make these kinds of sounds today (Class 1s anyway).

      To each his own. I grew up in the 1950's with clickity-clack. Music to me.

      That could be true with wilded rail today, but since the video was depicting 1950s Class-1 operations wheel clicks fits completely (welded rail was a new thing in the 1950s though).
