Hello. Another question bro. Don’t know which one to get. 4 burner. Or 3 burner. It’s just me and the wife. Sometimes we have another couple that goes out with us when we go camping. Is the extra $200 worth it??? I’m more leaning towards the 3 burner. Wife is saying go big or go home. But I’m disagreeing with that statement.
I enjoy the 3 burner, and I have a wife with 2 kids. It's worth the space above the 2-burner. It's nice to keep food warm on the side while searing other items.
Hello and thanks for video. Can the side shelf be lowered once propane tank is installed? When covering and storing just curious if I have to leave that shelf extended? Thank you
@@ChilesandSmoke just recieved my PB 2 burner and its awesome, really liking it. on mine however you cannot lower the side table once propane tank is installed, so it must be left extended when covering. i mean it does slightly go down, maybe like a half inch but for the most part the tank prevents it from lowering. no big deal however as i found a cover that works.... i just found it kind of weird that in every single video on the pit boss they do show you how the ide shelves lower but in every video the tank is not installed....
Nice video....but Pit Boss says that you totally CAN use metal utensils with this...so what is the truth? What is MSRP? They are also coming out with a 3 and a 4 and even a 5 burner ultimate griddle by next year, the 5 burner is with a full cabinet. My question is, are the burners offset to allow room for the grease cup? Does this mean the left side gets less hot? Pit Boss seems to have removed their website announcement about these....wonder what's up? Thank you. I want this if only for the ease of cleaning...tired of my Blackstone.
You can’t. I was definitely coached by them to make sure to spread the word. The left side does not get less hot through my testing. I wondered the same. The material conducts the heat very well too, I don’t seem to have hot spots. I can’t speak to the website announcement, I don’t work for them. Cleaning is super simple… a huge point for me too!
@@ChilesandSmoke Thank you! Funny...I had two employees from Pit Boss tell me that you totally CAN use metal utensils on this new surface..they even posted you can on their website..they must be walking that boast back now. I suppose that is ok...I think changing to plastic utensils would be worth it for the easier cleaning...I'm just getting tired of the gross cleaning of my Blackstone. Thank you for the good info....! Guess there will be a whole new market for plastic utensils....haha. Thanks again!
Is the thickness of the griddle itself as good as say the older Blackstone....? Mine is like 3/16" think. I am a tad afraid of possible warpage. They say it is as thick....Thanks!
Ok. All the other videos they all use metal spatula and also. The cover on the box or sticker has a picture of a metal spatula. Wouldn’t that be false advertising?????
@@jamiechristofferson7100 ok. Thank you. If you don’t mind. Can u ask them to sell this griddle at Lowe’s. I know tons of people including me that have accounts there that want this griddle. Just waiting to see if it sells there
Great video! I just got the 4 burner and it is soooo easy to CLEAN! Great idea about the steaming part - that is genius!
Yeah man it's SO fun
Mine cooks Aweoeme. Love it. My low setting seems hot and high seems excites extra hot. Any ideas on how to get it to cook low on low? Thx

@@ChilesandSmoke does your low cook like high?

Slick piece of kit
Thanks, I’m having a lot of fun with it
Cool little grill, looks fun 😇
Yeah, it's nice to finally be able to prep while cooking.
Let's see a video of you trying to use that bottle opener. Hahaha who put that thing together?
Hahaha! I totally noticed after I filmed this! So silly
Gosh this thing looks like a beast 😍
Yeah, love that I don’t need a fold up table nearby
Can you recommend what spatulas and accessories to use with this surface? I know silicon, but what brand you using?
I use this one from Castle Cookware, has a stainless core. Works great! amzn.to/3LGTZ7F
@@ChilesandSmoke Thank You Sir!
Why is it so hard to get length of cooktop?
I’d go out and measure it for ya if I still had this. I have a larger one now.

We're pretty well into August, where is this thing?
@@nicksears1225 on its way to stores. I’ve been asking the same thing. Amazon apparently has priority over shipping containers.

How hot can it get?
I’m not sure the exact temps. This was also about 2 years ago and I don’t have it anymore to test that. I’m sure their site gives information.
your bottle opener is upside down, how are you going to cook? :)

I guess that would be for a lawyer to decide? I’m telling you it would scratch, and they advised me to communicate that. Definitely take the advice.
I just talked with Pit Boss and they said no Stainless on the griddle. I did ask when they will have some accessories and the gal didnt know.
