He bullied, sued and tried to destroy people who told the truth about him, and he needs now to name all the people who helped him cheat, and together denied a fair chance and career to honest cyclists

Hi Mr Lance Armstrong, regards from India.I am a Glucoma patient, less vision in right eye,63% of optic nerve in left eye safe, with Glucoma.
I purchased your book IT IS NOT ABOUT BIKE in 3rd year of college.
In this book, there is a page where you wanted to quit but your mother prohibited you saying WINNERS NEVER QUIT,QUITTERS NEVER WIN.
I am told by the opthomologists to have a brisk walk of 30 minutes daily but I have made it 60 minutes.
I wanted to quit today but I recalled your mother's advice and carried on,result, wonderful, within 1 week, the pace has increased automatically.
    Thanks.

There was an article in bicycling magazine that attempted to identify the real "non-doping" winner of Lance's victories. They had to go down to 10th place in most of the races since the top 9 or so were also convicted of doping. So, he was the best - the best cycler and best doper.

Athletes like Lance achieve amazing physical and mental feats and become an inspiration to many. It's human nature to find heroes and role-models. When it is discovered that these "heroes" are, in fact, deceitful, it makes big waves, of course. Is it really that hard to grasp?

Never liked this guy but I have to give him respect for coming forward even if he got caught and kind of had to because a lot of people would just rat out completely and at least he finally faced the music And only he knows what it feels like to be him and to have done what he did. Anyway I respect anyone that is a human being because it is damn hard and we all make mistakes including some pretty seemingly big ones sometimes. In the end, your integrity is based on what you take responsibility for and sometimes that takes a while and for some it never comes.

It's not just cycling. A huge number of people watch, compete, and draw inspiration from endurance sports. In an Ironman triathlon, for example, athletes start off by swimming 2.4 miles, then immediately cycle for 112 miles, then immediately run 26.2 miles. Some of these athletes are in their 80's. Just saying, it's about more than just riding a bicycle.

He, on the other hand, lied, cheated, perjured himself in a Federal Court, for over TEN years, as he made millions and millions of dollars (over 30 million dollars of American tax money from the Postal Service alone), he destroyed clean cyclists' careers who dared to tell the truth, he bribed officials and doctors, and now he'll be throwing his colleagues under the bus. What, do you want to give him another trophy? Unreal.
